ribbon Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 can you take away minimum length of message often times a no does the job perfectly like there
poon Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 I actually don't like the minimun length either. It kills "yes" or "No" answers, which are at times useful, and the only other places I'd use small posts are in match finder threads where they also would be really useful. Also the mods are careful to delete shit posts i dont think there would be a prob.
Wirya Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 Very short "yes" or no" answers aren't worth to be posted, IMHO. It would be better to just ignore the question.
ribbon Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 I think it would be better to ignore your opinion!
Wirya Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 I just happen to think that getting stumbled in a thread filled with very short questions followed by very short answers is, well, not a nice experience. Also if you remove the minimum length of message, there'll be useless very short posts appearing here and there, like "lol" or "omg".
tragic Posted October 16, 2005 Author Posted October 16, 2005 Ok, I will move the reply limit down to 2. However... if it is abused, and the mods don't take care of it, I'm going to move it back up (possibly to 10 or so. unsure at the moment). Does that sound fair?
rtl42 Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 First off, I'm not sure where I've ever seen an official source say that Baiken's family name is "Seishino", but hey, I stopped paying attention to story stuff last year, so whatever. Second off, if anything, I would rather go with your latter suggestion, that last names be dropped, as opposed to making everyone have their full names. But I don't think it's really worth changing anyway - the point is to make sure that it's clear which board belongs to which character.
ribbon Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 if you had had a chance to see how the thread turned out you'd agree with me deleting it
ribbon Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 from the 8 replies 5 or 6 were off-topic and it would've been dizzy porn by the second page and then I would've had to split it and move stuff to zepp museum and thats too much work!

Koozebanian Fazoob Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 AIM or IRC, I wouldn't believe there isn't an IRC channel for this somewhere.

EX UmJamLammy Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 But then, it would be convenient and I'm sure it would get used. While I'm not sure on the bandwidth usage of it and such, it doesn't seem like a terrible idea.

PozerWolf Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Is it possible to have our "location" to be located under our Avatar like at SRK.com?

Koozebanian Fazoob Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 I've hit a message length limit on the FAQ, is there any way the maximum size of a message can be increased? Failing that, is there any convenient way I can sneak a new post into the middle of a thread so I can just continue into that post?

Kairi Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Im pretty sure you can't do that I've tried,You just have to reserve spaces ahead of time...you could alway's just put it into the second persons post, that's what I do. Edit:Next post after your two is mine,I just posted uselees questions you can overwrite me and just say it's you in big coloured letters. 2nd edit:Actually your post is straight after mine, just delete mine and yours will be next, just keep on doing that.

Koozebanian Fazoob Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Yeah that's the plan, but it's kind of a hassle anyway.
