MAdBater Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 i did not have time to figure out a full combo but i got Counter assault 6AB - 623AA to work but i could not get a full combo like a falling C combo to work in the time i tried. But i was only at it for few minutes.
WolfCrimson Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Yo guys, here's a Haku back throw combo that's probably not mentioned. It looks boss and is tough to pull off, but oh so satisfying, works anywhere: 4B+C>RC>IAD>f.j2C>5C >Enma >f.j2C >2C > j2A> AD> j2A> jC If you don't have the 2 magatama for doing kishuu>enma you can just do 2C>j2A>AD>j2A>jC after the initial falling 2C. It's good if you want to go for the kill.
Sniper Pie Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 I'm completely new to BB and I really have to thank you for all these combo's, now to begin the grind! Hopefully I'll be able to beat someone at my school soon lol
ili2 Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 (edited) For corner throw combos, specifically for: b+c > 214b > 2c > j.2a, j.2c > 2c > sjc.2a > ad > j.2a > j.c > 5c I find this combo much harder to do from a throw started compared to 5c (actually, I havent managed to do it even once after a throw...). I guess that's due to proration huh. Before I grind this combo to death in training mode I'm just wondering - is this the combo to work for, or is there a better alternative out there? The combo list isn't that organized (with BC2 around the corner there is no real reason to fix it either), so it's hard to find out the optimal combos for different situations. EDIT: FFFFFFFFFFFF was tearing my hair out on this one. Thanks! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EDIT 2: On the other hand, if I start with 5c 214b, doing 5b after causes the j.c to miss, at least against Ragna. So basically it boils down to 5b prorating less than 5c, but it also launches a shorter distance (which is not a problem after throw > renka), causing j.c to whiff on some characters. Am I getting that right? So 5b after throw > renka (and 2d > 5c 214b?) 2c after anything else. Edited December 29, 2010 by ili2
ryokoalways Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 That combo doesn't work, replace the first 2C with a 5B and it will.
Sophisticat Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 On the topic of the combos in the first post, I agree a bit of a cleanup might be in order. The number of practical combos Haku has isn't that great, but he can have a great number of variations, so it's inefficient to list them all. In the spirit of cleanup, here are what I think are the main combos you need to know: (Regular enma combo is abbreviated as "f.C") (Air bnb is abbreviated to "s.a/b" for "hop 5a/b -> staircase".) (Corner loop is "Cl.") Midscreen [stuff] -> 3c -> 2b -> Gurren -> s.b (3c and 2b are omitted in some circumstances) ~2.5 - 3.5k [stuff] -> f.C (if AA 5a/b CH, then 5c -> f.C, or directly into staircase) ~3 - 4k [stuff] -> renka(1) -> f.C ~3.5-4.5k Higher damage midscreen combos come from 5c x2 links into f.C. I won't bother listing these variations. Damage hits 5k+ with the right starter. Corner Tsubaki -> 2c -> Cl. 5k Not much in terms of corner specific combos. It's basically anything into corner combo that ends in 5c knockdown for oki. Throw -> Gurren -> s.a ~2.7k -> Renka(1) -> Gurren -> s.b ~3.5k -> Renka(1) -> f.C ~4.2k [Corner] -> renka -> 5b -> sj.Cl. And... that's it. Haku has more specific combos for certain situations and you can add in a few that provide high damage if you don't mind spending the meter for it, but what's up here is all you really need...
Michael1919 Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 (edited) New to BB:CS. Using Hakumen as my main. Trying to do this combo [starter move] > 623AA > falling j.2C, 2C > sj.2A, IAD j.2A, j.C I can do up to the 2C fine, but at the 2C the combo beat turns blue. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong at all. I've tried delaying the 2C and doing it faster. Neither have worked. Can anyone help me out or link a video where a Haku player does this combo? Appreciate any help. Edited December 30, 2010 by Michael1919

Appreciate any help. set the training mode dummy to tech. set aerial roll to neutral emergency roll to enabled wake up to neutral stagger to neutral. this way if it blue beats the dummy will tech. in this combo what you are looking for is a clear sign like for instance X>623aa>falling J2C> at this moment wait until the characters body (the one you are hitting) turns upsidedown then 2C>immediately J2A>delay>air dash>J2A>etc. this is a tricky combo with alot of different answers. counting, watching specific sprites, etc. just keep trying.
WolfCrimson Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 I think the problem is with doing the falling j2C, you need to delay it in such a way that the combo is legit. There's a specific visual cue that helps: when Haku is falling he'll start retracting his legs. The moment his legs are fully retracted, do the j2C.
