Actually Keo, its just some random guy having to make a PB:E tourney, not 5pb.

While is some random guy, it does seem this guy is affiliated with 5pq. But yeah I should edit that post.

I don't really think he's affiliated with 5pb in any way, the guys that run the FB/TW page just shared this guys post and p. much commented on their pages just to get some noticing, that's all, anyways, wish I still had PB:E on the 360, but I don't, thems the breaks.

On the 16 PBE got update pacth that updated the gamer version to 1.03. Some of the change includes modify animation and few elements change but investigation is still goin on. The most noticable change is that hi jump are higher, and most meter less loops are gone including the infamous kurisu grap loop.

Is Sophia's infinite gone too or was that removed in the previous patches?

was removed in previous patches

So the Vita ver of BattleGrounds is coming this quarter, and the new publishers are debating if there's a market to bring over PBX as well . . .

lol

Yeah, already at AX checking out on it anyways, though not much info, but its a start to gauge some intrest in a localized version. I would be up for it too if possible.

Im skeptical to think this still exist since. When PBE xbox patch was release, this glitch was apparent, so they delayed the ps3 glitch in time for remedy patch that is ver 1.04. Even though ps3 version say 1.03 it base off xbox 1.04 ( they were even release at the same time.)

Heres the wiki for the game that list floating glitch.

Mind you the video may have been uploaded at later date but it was recorded a time before xbox got the 1.04 glitch.

Wasn't 5pb. still saying something dumb like "We're still trying to get the original over first! It's important that everyone understand the story!"

Extra will never happen.

Yeah, that's been said before, but with the way trying to get PB (not the spin-off) overseas has been really excruciating lately, almost 2+ years and still don't even have the originial version of PB out, even already localized, gone gold, and all that stuff. I'm still not even sure if Southpeak/7-Sixty is still in business or not. (Though their website pages are dead from what I know. And hardly never post on their social media pages anymore), I woudn't say its a lost cause, but I just wonder where all the "copies" are stored, since the game does exist in some form in an English version, and have been in certain XBL gamers in their played games/ach list (due to "review copies" of the full game), it even was playtested at Anime Matsuri 2012 in TX. I know I've already mentioned something like this in the past over and over. But somethings gotta be said.

Anyways, it was nice playing Extra again at AX (and a little try of PB:BG on the Vita, with slighty chaged stuff though, lol.), and I've already mentioned/talked the guys from 5pb USA to see how much the demand to get this out would go, like for signatures and trying to campaign/fundraise/etc or something (though I didn't speak much on this matter), and also some players have their own say on if they liked/disliked the game. Well, if anything like Aqua-P and Under Night (or in general, niche fighters) can get a localization, then I hope this one can too (for PB:Extra at least, since vanilla PB already got one, but still waiting to be released as well).

Are we positive that this latest patch improved the netcode? I swear before this patch all the games I had were painful to play with the heavy delay presence, and I couldn't join people's lobbies 80% of the time. I'm pretty happy with how these casuals went tonight. My connection with everyone was pretty playable, finally. lol

While I still can't explain few things. one thing that can be assume is that their was nuances we had to learn about PBE netcode. We only just recently learned that some time people couldn't join rooms if match is already going on. While Netcode hasn't really improve delay wise. it does seem more stages are stable to play. Originality the rule of thump was stick to playing Mikoto, Mei, and Itsuki stages and avoid stages with large effects. Now more stages are bearable to play like like infinity and Fin's stages (still should avoid them though).

We still had that one hiccup at the beginning but then everything else seem stable so PBE netcode still ass far as i am concern, though this is reason i would like to push localize release. I'm confident if we get that than we expect further patches to improve netcode. Like examu did for aquapazza.

For those who wish to purchase Phantom Breaker: Extra on the Japanese PSN, it's available for 2,160 yen. Which is quite a steal.

I suspect a sales. it would be great if it was price drop as its current rice is really steep for what it is.
