p.s. is anyone else easily able to bring a tv? boombox can bring the third but his is ass-fuckingly-huge(like 35 inches) and would probably be distracting if put side by side with another tv(so i'll probably have that setup running in the bedroom)

Yeah, still at my place. I think we can handle 3 setups, but I'll look into the meeting hall stuff before the next meetup.

basically this guy sat down and had a talk with pachi about the future of guilty gear, and he said the problem is asw doesn't want to do it. they would rather focus on blazblue, but he still wants to make the game. he also said that if he were to make it, he'd take slashbacks and frcs out of the game for sure, and change its art style to be more 3d-like, similar to street fighter.

Yeah, I saw that article before it got taken down. I was upset. Apparently they wouldn't even accept the idea of making frcs more lenient, and they wanted to generally lessen complexity..not even about making execution easier any more, just taking away depth and making a game simpler. -_- Fucking stupid.

I'd love to see a 2.5d GG-style fighter, but I don't want it to be GG itself. I don't think Slayer would be as cool, Bridget would be as cute, etc, and characters like Robo-ky and Eddie who transform constantly would suffer drastically unless they had an ungodly budget. It would lose so much flavor.
