GET DAT DAMAGE IN THE FINAL ROUND! -BURST/CANCELLING USES THE SAME METER, WHICH TAKES LONGER TO REFILL IF YOU BURST THAN THE OTHER TWO. DEEP FUCKING GAME. IF YOU USE THE CANCEL WHEN THERE'S NOTHING TO CANCEL, YOU GET A LONGER VERSION OF THE ARCANA'S POWER UP. DID I MENTION USING THE INSTALL/CANCEL MAKES YOU MOVE 15% FASTER? OH SHITTTT. -HOMING CANCEL SHIT WITH YOUR HEAT, YOU CAN SOMETIMES DO THAT SHIT EVEN BEFORE IT IS BLOCKED, LIKE WITH ARCANA SPECIALS, LIKE PROJECTILES! Also, not sure if this is getting "shafted" so much as getting lied to, but it's still not nearly as long of a wait as BBCT->BBCS or..well, any previous rebalance ever. True, but you have to remember, I was focusing more on the idea that there's a rebalance already out, literally people are learning crazy good shit, being able to pick this up on the fly while we play the waiting game. gg arcades D: nah but real talk all of this is just thinking aloud/writing it out so it doesn't bother me as much. Sure I've waiting years for new balanced versions of my games in the past. Did it bother me then? hell yeah it did. Should I be able to deal with this kind of bs without getting frustrated? sure. Will I? nope :3 I mean don't get me wrong if i'd never ever played cs1, then yeah it would make sense to try harder and continue practicing cs1 as long as i could until cs2 came out for consoles. But seeing as I've been playing this current build of cs for about hmm...let's say a good 5-6 months. Pretty much everything I've learned is good to go save for a few matchups I need experience in, but even then I don't play online whatsoever, and I'm not the type of player who goes through a game getting a basic idea of everyone so i can better understand a matchup, I literally have to play the matchup enough times to get a better idea of how it works. That's just my playstyle, It's carried me a good long ways so far and It's only helped progress my never being satisfied with mediocrity ideal i've had since i first started playing fighting games. tl;dr: deal with it.

I'm not saying we should work our asses off for PERFECT EXECUTION ON GDLK COMBOS or very specific option selects and oki setups, I'm just saying that playing the game moderately for a month in BBCS after BBCS2 is out will get you 80% of the same skill that a month of BBCS2 would, aside from combos. The spacing and stuff is the same. As for trollchan, who I have no other reason to respond to: I'd go to a close enough tourney that has Pozer or Jan, but I think that comment comes from the Quakecon incident when I decided not to donate money to the tournament because it would just be throwing money on Pozer's lap, especially since that was back in AUGUST and we were new as hell to the game, especially compared to arcade-chans like Pozer. It was the correct decision considered how shitty that tourney was. And you know what? Yeah, i'm not going to travel several hours most of the year to go to a fighting game tourney, even if I would like to play really good players and get my ass kicked because I learn well that way. Why? Spoiler alert: College is more important to me than fighting games, and I am anal about spending my time wisely with that in mind. Additionally, it would take a lot of matches for me to really learn from people a lot better than me, which I may not have the time for in a trip, so simply playing MORE against people I still learn decently from like Ronin/Oso is simply more logical. I mean my baller status 6C fatal counter lol you're almost dead combo only works in the corner now, sans the second 6C and 5C>3C ender. does about 2K less, doesn't bother me too much since damage is damage. other things are gone(renka and hotaru wall bounce now, slightly harder to combo, tsubaki copter gone, no more j.D) in exchange for a few new gatlings which I like(2A > 2B/5A/5B, 5A > 6A/5B) not to mention grabbing a star off of a successful, but less threatening counter(s), and being able to combo off of some of them. A whole list of other things I could go into detail with but overall he's more balanced for cs2 gameplay, i mean sure the basic stuff is all the same(same gameplan, same general character idea, just different links that need provide a sort of "okay you know hakumen, he's still good you just need to get used to some of these changes" same deal as the difference between ct and cs haku) Overall yeah I do moderately play cs1(hell my usual skill level when i play some of you guys is literally me just playing once or twice during the week) but it's honestly gonna be less than usual until I have an idea of when cs2 will come out(not speculated idea but actual, it's gonna come out for xbox at this time, date) That and the idea of being able to throw 6C in the start up of a bnb is quite amusing to me :3 /pumpedForCS2 tl;dr: yeah he's pretty different from what i've observed/read about. It can crossup ambiguously theoretically though, yeah, but I don't know how good morrigan's crossup boxes are in MvC3, so.. :P The main thing is you do 2aaaaaa and rape mashing and then you go into an overhead or a delayed low into a good combo as like the most raw reset possible, right back into hard pressure. You better hope you're ryu when you're trapped in that.
