Mightfo Posted April 20, 2011 Author Posted April 20, 2011 oh uh ok mortal kombat 9 apparently has poop netcode but also some matches make the game look decent though i still dont care 3 papers is hell ah3 is out on psn for $30 everyone buy it if you have ps3 and didnt import it you will love it. it is interesting and fun and exciting and probably has at least one character you'd have a blast with and arcanas and hell yes warcraft 3 with no upkeep a 300 foodcap and more gold in mines is fun as hell i wonder if frigid is hosting this week

Not playing MK9 Still relatively mediocre in mvc3. no ps3 = no ah3 :/ Jam loop consistency: 40% KJ FRC combos with johnny: 90% gravedigger loops with baiken: 100% 123Genei Jin: 30% ~_~ that's about it folks
cookie` Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 guys actually having people on psn to play ah3 is beautiful only thing more amazing is doing it offline but this is still hella fun thinking about just running rooms in the afternoon on a regular basis, it'd be great to get some guys in that aren't 2 delay or worse :P

My MvC3 career is dead and i blame the BasedGod. Marvel 3 is a dumb game, we just need to learn to be dumber when we play. I am learning more and more that the secret of that game is just being good at not getting hit and forcing the other guy to block 50/50 set-ups the entire time. Also, don't drop the soap. If you drop combos in that game or don't just flat out kill characters when you have the chance it will bit you in the ass. Just kills characters, fuck how much meter it takes, just do it. Or you can be a tier whore and play Task, Wesker, Sent or Dante, Wesker, Sent, or play Phoneix and be a fag. Key point, play Wesker or Phoenix with 2 other top tier character. Or hell, play Wesker and Phoneix. Marvel 3 is dumb.

I am pretty tired for having 4 exams and 2 presentations in the last 2 week and probably should take a weekend for myself. Also, my copy of Super Robot Wars Z2 will be delivered sometime this week and I will probably be too busy playing that to even touch a fighting game. It is not worth risking getting hit when you can just combo into it and get like 5k damage midscreen anyway. Unless there is some retarded 9k FC gravity Seed combo it is probably just not worth using it outside of combos. Even if you could do 9k on a FC it would be either completely random luck or I would have to yomi the guy into hitting something slow as hell. In both cases, it still relies on too much guessing to be worth it to me. also i take it the mspaint wesker avatar was not to your liking? It is not really that, I am just too lazy to put it up. Usually I just post something and go back to doing whatever I was doing at the time. I should probably just put it up as it takes like 10 seconds to do. Maybe when I get home. Mightfo Posted April 20, 2011 Author Posted April 20, 2011 well yeah, FC attacks like that are pretty much only for yomi/whoops i blocked your dp now you get to die only real exception is a head invuln FCs (or whatever other defensive property) or ragna's 2c being +1 though, gravity well is also throw invuln and takes a primer. so it works as an option that would beat say, both tager's atomic collider and his 360. poor tager.

How many Texans would like me to host Arcana Heart 3 alongside my Melee monthlies? Were probably doing a mostly local $5 side tourney on April 30th, but if theres interest then next month I would up entry to 10 bucks and hope to see texas. It would be mostly OK, TX people. We expect you to take our money because we suck, but also to pay the venue fee which goes to the regional trip fund so OK can travel. Norman is about 3 hours from DFW area. Outside of monthlies, we will be hosting a larger series with Smash, BBCS2, and Arcana Heart (maaaaybe marvel or MK9) where I hope to get AR, TN, to represent as well in early Julyish Edited April 22, 2011 by Solidus
