Since it's confession time, I might as well say that I'm still lurking around. :kitty: I'm going to Richland this year though so much closer to Jet/Frigid whenever they host.

And I've been messing with touhou 12.3 while creeping around on an IRC for it. Someone there knew me. :s

What part of Arlington?

Literally right by mansfield and GP border. (Think TCC SE campus, it's literally down the street from me) My fiance lives in Lewisville/Carrollton area(with her parents til I move out) though so I'm pretty much down to drive where ever in the DFW-Denton range.

Ahh. I'm in south arlington, like 7 mins away from TCC S campus.

Welcome, Tizzy! I used to use 360 pad to play BB, but I used the analog, not the loldpad. Would love to see you at meetups, and people are always up for advice and helping out and whatnot. I totally remember what it was like playing gg/bb and having no idea what I was doing... But yeah, learning fighters is really just super fucking fun.

Will do. Probably dedicate another 2 weeks or so to practicing and more learning then might try to get back on LIVE as well.

EDIT: I'm to the point of dedication where if im not on my 360. I'm carrying around my PSP with BBCS2 on it.

Damn, that means I have to actually practice BBCS 2 some time this week. Anyways, I think it is time I really dedicate myself to working out my fundamental problems. EVO had reminded me that I need to step my game up if I am ever going to be happy with my play. Going to try something crazy on Friday that will probably fuck me up, but will be worth it. Going to just work on spacing, reading, and blocking. Maybe think about doing mix ups and what they might do in response for a change. This is going to totally work.

By rekkas do you mean a series of three special attacks like fei long, the latter of which are often unsafe, or do you mean any thing where you can do a special with multiple followups?

If the former, not really(Litchi has a staffless thing like that, though). If the latter, noel's drive, makoto's quartercircle back series, and a few of ragna's moves kind of count. Also, tsubaki can cancel some of her drive moves(works like order sol) into others(like QCF->QCB).

I saw your list of games at meltybread and noticed that GG wasn't there. How come it isn't being included? Also, are there gonna be prizes for the other games?

I will probably pick her up over time as a sub, going to stick with Lambda for now and just learn how to do my shit better. Got to keep true to my style. I am terrible at playing rush-down and better at playing lame/keep away.

Just got to learn how to deal with bad situations, so I am learning how to deal with my problems better. Like I am going to start researching how to deal with Carl's sandwich, Hazama being Hazama, Noel and Makoto being dumb and so forth. Seem like there are some work around if I work on my IB a lot. Like I can supposedly can just IB Nirvana's punch and if Carl goes for certain jump attacks I can IB the punch and punish his jump. If he is on the ground wait for the right time and just jump and dash off. Now if he reads that jump he can throw me, but I need to be ready with a break which should get me some space or punish his jump if I think of a way how.

Now, I am not good at thinking in the middle of matches because I stress myself out. That is why I need to work on reading,blocking, spacing and learning to stay in control of my emotions more. Also, going to do the same thing with Marvel with my team and learn how to play a better game. Like dealing with keep away, better mix up, not being as predictable and actually trying to think about what my opponent wants to do instead of just trying to react to anything they throw out at me. Going to be a long haul as I don't have the time like I use to, but I am going for EVO 2012 and I don't want to be free as I am today.

Lol well im not running this thing at all so i cant truely answer the question.

However i knew the original creator of this and i can safely say that he simply didn't have it, nor knew anyone that did and played it often. I mean OK, GG has been dead for a long while lol.
