I don't know if I am going to have the strength to drive to OK for a tournament, but if someone else is down for driving it might not be a bad call. If not, who is hosting this weekend? I can do Saturday as far as I can tell, but I might need to go a grab a friend that night sometime. Doctor Strange Lvl 3 is the new Gravity Squeeze. Dr. Strange is looking really fun to me. Mostly because he looks like he can be ultra lame as hell, yet still can keep it stylish. That guy is going on a team somewhere. Why does UmvC 3 cast look so much more fun to play. EDIT: I know I am probably going to get SFxT day one no matter how bad it ends up being.

I REALLY wanna play Chris but a char that's suppose to zone gets zoned by people that arent zoners. . . . .. Hawkeye looks like he has some cool stuff and Vipers optic blast was beast. LF> to PW and Vergil gameplay. No one thinks strange looks gigantic?

Chris might be better now that he can cancel his command shots to specials. Plus who knows what else he has gotten that we don't know yet. I am looking forward to see how the rest of the characters turn out. Right now all of the marvel characters we have seen have heavy zoning abilities. Depending on how they do Nova the only non zoning character I can tell will be iron fist. Capcom characters seem to be all rush down right now and outside of Vergil and maybe PW they all seem to be rush down type characters. Frank West might have some limited zoning abilities but if he is like his TvC version he is going to want to be in there. On the case of Dr. Strange size he is about the same size as Magnus to me.

Mr EckZ Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Dr Strange seems to have some phoenix shenanigans... he looks like he's going to be really fun to play. I'm guessing he's going to have like 700k-800k health, Nemesis almost killed him with a BnB 0_o

Mightfo Posted August 17, 2011 Author Posted August 17, 2011 did you see that Hadoken volley/sandwich between Ken and Ryu that was too sick :P Yeah, they've shown the two-character-at-a-time thing in footage before..it looks like it has extreme potential for combos/mixup/pressure, but even if it does cost 3 bars it may be a little too much..over on SRK d3v had some capcom unity forward a list of suggestions about how to set it up to where it wouldnt be underpowered or overpowered. Aside from balance, i'm also worried if the control setup isnt weird..i think right now once you do an action it automatically switches characters. We'll see, I guess. I hope they try to underdo the power it has to be safe, since I'm sure even if they do that it'll still be useful to some pairs of characters, and it could always be buffed in Super SF X Tekken. also in a raw neutral situation it would probably end up rather retarded so that'll be lol, but whatever. we'll see!

Mr EckZ Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 well if I read correctly, I think they said it switches characters when your stick's in neutral. I can definitely see some sick stuff coming out of that, maybe some unblockables/really ambiguous pressure.
