Frigiddeath Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 Shout out to everyone who came today. I had a lot of fun getting to actually play for once. Lambda is still pretty fun so I might just practice her first and just learn match up this time. Next week should be fun with SFxT coming out and hopefully people can pick it up and learn some early tech. Remember you sometimes just have to grind it out and try and improve your game where you can. You got to master yourself before you can master how to control your opponent's play. It is not easy to do. I have been playing a pretty long time and I am still pretty much ass in most games.

Like, ever since the tournament, I'm at that juncture where no definite difference is being made and it bugs me. Stuff I should have been doing from the start still eludes me. Like knowing the basics of Soul Calibur or being able to do Haku's FUCK-MOTHERING BNB. And don't get me started with Marvel. I don't have the fucking mindset for Marvel. I LIKE THINKING DAMMIT. I've got no issue with you guys 'bashing' on me. Hell I enjoy hearing you guys helping me out. Reminds me why I originally showed up.

Its pretty awesome that everyone plays different characters so matchup experience out the ass. I actually think today was alot of fun and left feeling like i learned some stuff other than times where its just mess around and dont say much. GG's to everyone i played Shoutouts to Eric being like "fuck turning around" to me being salty at counters in fighting games to Trans and Frigid for drive/host to nerd chat to SWAG to Blt Burgers to frigid getting back into the scene to moose 2 setups to bugs all ova mah screen to me never playing keyblaz in BB and eric on that factor with the converter.( i feel your pain i dont like the ps2 pad) to getting better to every new fighter coming out to throw counters Ill post those vids i promised for key and Edge 2morrow Good stuff guys *Edit* Lost my Debit Card its either at Frigids , in Trans car, or out on the street. Shoutouts to dusting off my Tekken 6 Feng and getting kicked and punched across the screen by Eric's Jin/Hwoarang to THE HUNDREDS OF BB MATCHES I PLAYED to KoF being my favorite thing ever that I'm at best mediocre at to finally feeling comfortable enough to hold a goddamn conversation with people here to Mountain Dew to Keyblaz making me look a fool in SCV and a special thank you to Frigid for hosting. We should actually have that group lunch or dinner sometime. Thanks for the meetup, not sure if I'll make this weeks but I'll definitely see you guys at D-Town Beatdown on Sunday.
