If you haven't yet I definitely suggest picking up the strategy guide. I saw it at Wal-Mart for $20. Also, I can't really make it to meetups right now but, if anyone ever wants to play on PSN or come by my place during the week for MvC3 I'm down. I usually completely free Sunday-Thurs.

Frigiddeath Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 also, frigid, if you're going to use homing cancel a lot in blockstrings it should be 6d, not 5d or whatever you were doing. 6d only requires 8 frames of movement. You have to remember I am using time arcana. 6D will teleport me across the screen. It is not a bad call if I have them cornered, but I rarely think about it as I was mostly just guessing and trying to set up random mix up games. With a time ball out I am mostly safe. I can just block if I think they are going to poke, if I do get hit the time ball with hit them and at worst leave us neutral, and gives me options to make them guess how to block. At least that is my logic. Not that I have really researched how to play that game and mostly just do random crap and hopes it hits. Also, I am not sure if I am going to be able to host this weekend. Stuff is happening over here which I need to deal with fast. If I have everything sorted out by Friday afternoon I can host, but if not I will have to let you host Might. I will probably be able to host a meet up sometime this week, probably Thursday, and host next Saturday for sure. I will keep everyone up to date as things progress.

Yeah, especially on some matchups where it's not as likely you'll get the start off without using 40% of the nirvana gauge..plus IIRC Nirvana's gauge drops faster in CS2. it is still extremely frightening though
