But nothing truly solid.. and ill get in to the ole KOF stuff once theres Good news of KOF13 you play jojo's and such even though those aren't getting new vesions ;P you could play the arcade version of vanilla kof2002... anyone going to Austin this spring break? i have not heard of any updates on ronin's plans for this so i assume not

Mightfo Posted March 17, 2011 Author Posted March 17, 2011 oh my fucking delicious litchi bbcs2 changes besides comboability/6a nerfs: 6b[m] is only -3 on block onw instead of -7 jsdkfjsfdjk jjizzzzz 6c[m] is -1 now (!!!) instead of -13, + huge pushback 4d is only -4 though no longer cancellable. if done at max range(end of active frames) it'd be +5 i suppose though obviously easier to block/hit j2d is +19 instead of +5 5b[e] is 8 frame startup instead of 9 her staff rekka followups are +20/+18/+16 if the automatic followup doesnt miss. fucking incredible. cant special cancel into them anymore tho ..and yet they made 6c[e], a shitty slow overhead worse than lamda's 4b, have an even bigger gap between the strikes. 25 frame gap instead of 15. what. combo nerf i guess

Fishing for that juicy prorate 6b does 590x2 damage, up from 290x2, but P1 is now 50 and not 100. Not sure if that's relevant or not though cause I'm bad It looks like Haku's lv 2 6c might come out faster (16+8 instead of "14 from release," which if I'm understanding it right would be 22 frame startup at the earliest vs. Lv 1's 20) but can't confirm personally. Normal 6c isn't any faster than CS1 4c is up 100 damage and has better (I assume..) proration: 86/80 instead of 60/89. + SPECIAL CANCELLABLE. has 5 more recovery frames, putting it at -10 instead of -5 w/ no cancel 3c is -4 instead of -9. i foresee much jab baiting Parries (looks like they all have 45 (was 60-70 before) P2 prorate, not sure how to interpret the data tho): 5d = 1400 damage, 5 startup 16 active 13 recovery (Old: 1700 | 7 | 20 | 12) + Comboable 2d = 1100 damage, 1 startup 8 active 34 recovery (Old: 1070 | 1 | 7 | 32) 6d = 1400 damage, 1 startup 9 active 26 recovery (Old: 0!!!! | 1 | 7 | 28) j.d = 1600 damage, 1 startup 7 active 12 recovery post land (Old: 1670 | 1 | 9 | 11) + No longer comboable Untech/recovery data on attacks is kind of weird so I'm not gonna make a call there. CH State until 14F instead of 19. Can start enma from frame 10-15 instead of 12-16, but Enma also has 3 more frames of startup (9 instead of 6.) Stuff like 6c, Hotaru, Tsubaki have vastly higher untech times cause of the new sliding/corner binding stuff. Mightfo Posted March 17, 2011 Author Posted March 17, 2011 (edited) MORE FRAME DATA CHANGE SUMMARIESSS BANG: 5a- startup increased from 5 to 6, but it recovers 3 frames faster, even on block now 5b-10 frame startup like we knew..frame data says its -2 on block now, but the increase in attack level and decrease in recovery should make it +2 like we thought it was..typo? 5d-19 frame startup instead of 24..but -15 on block? jesus fuck. autoguard is 3-11 instead of 3-15 2b-says it's -6 on block instead of -3, but the attack level and recovery are the same..strange 2c- -4 instead of -2. 6a- 17 frame startup instead of 22 but this isnt really useful outside of being able to do 5c 6a 2c and i guess not getting 5b IB'd 6b is -1 instead of -3 6d is 24 frame startup instead of 30, but -9 on block instead of -4. however, it's also 1-14 autoguard instead of 1-11 2d is -8 on block instead of -5 but is jcable. autoguard is 7-23 instead of 4-27 ground phoenix crash is -7 on block now, more recovery as a combo nerf even though that move has always been shit in neutral. d moves are special cancellable into this now, but obviously still poop to go into d nails are +6 instead of +8. unsure about this, it looked a lot worse in videos tl;dr i'm not playing bang in cs2 because unless his autoguards really end up viable/reliable in many matchups(or frkz/bumper pringles ends up enjoyable/reliable enough) he'll be even more dependent on 5a, lol worse on block 2c and ground phoenix make me a sad dad. dear arcsys make these legit choices in neutral some day so bang's neutral game isnt piss fucking boring. but we'll see. maybe drive centric bang is actually quite good and interesting. HELLOOO LITCHI you got even sexier in cs2 :3 TSUBAKI -lots of her followups like 5bb have tons(like, 7-10 frames less) less recovery -2a is +2 -6a is still fucking 26 frames -5c has an attack level increase, probably great for CCs. 6a and 6b got one too -6b is 21 instead of 25 frames and is +1 on block -3c recovers 2 frames faster, still meh tho -dunno if her 2d is still pissquick for charge cancelling rest is about specials and a few things confuse me so im not going to try to tackle those, sadly other random notes: ragna: ragna's 5d's second hit seems to be listed as an attack level higher, 5 instead of 4..so maybe dash cancel is more legit now. dash cancel column does not verify this ragna 2d is only -4 on block now instead of -18 thank fucking everything, much better recovery ragna 6a is slightly quicker startup and recovery but lost 3 frames of head invuln 6c is slower, sad life 6d is 4 frames faster valk 6c is only +2 now, ah well does not look like valk overhead punch is + frames even though they took away its overhead property. oh well, i guess its nice for transitioning into wolf form when you need to move forward a bit and want more blockstun than 236a no more + frame 236a. no more baby blockstrings for valk noel 2c is+3 on block now her 5d is 3-15 invuln and 27 frame startup isntead of 5-19 and 24 frame optic barrel A is 22 frame startup(!!) but -3 on block now. still, fairly reliable way to end drive pressure safely Edited March 17, 2011 by Mightfo

I mean shit that irritated the piss out of me when i was in a match with friends and it counted as an overhead /ragerant tl;dr. :D lmao yeah physically it makes so sense but 1)it was such a cool move 2)it was such a convenient overhead because it was fast and could come at any time and then lead into MORE pressure and because of #2 it was good to use a lot, and who doesn't love when fucking cool moves are used a lot also being an air unblockable is not as special in cs2 hopefully it's still good for transitioning into wolf pressure. maybe it's faster, too. that would be an interesting move if it was much faster..no longer limited by being an overhead. i havent watched much cs2 valk though so someone else would have to confirm if it even looks any faster, untranslated frame data aside
