FFFFFFFFFF- Gonna super yomi mother to let me get in on this. I'll try bringing my monitor if Adam decides to go too. I mentioned this before but I took apart Plastick in preparation for the project box stick so I can't bring a controller for a while... unless I find my dumb HORI stick.

Looks like I will be hanging out in the music game room at Yulecon this weekend, but from what I hear they are also going to have a BBCS setup (along with other fighters like SSF4) and a tournament in their console game room! I know it's a bit short notice and there are already meetups this weekend and everything, but anyone interested in going? :3

Hmmm, technically I could go. (freakin' 2hr ride on DART + TRE) If there's an exact date, I can try making out to this and drag Adam along too.

edit: Turns out it's Friday with registration opening at 3. $5-$10 entrance fee on top of an unknown one day pass fee. (Probably $20)

So for me, that would include TRE fair + Con Pass + Toun Fee... Guess I better get on that part-time work soon.

Here is their tournament schedule. The BBCS tourney is at 4pm on Friday. (too early IMO, I won't be able to make it :/) And yeah Ronin, it's $20 for a weekend pass for the gaming area in addition to the tourney fee.

Better be worth my money if I was going to go. Late shout outs to everyone who came on Saturday and my toilet had it coming so fuck it. Not sure if I am going to make either meet up this week, so good thing other people can host. However, if Jet can't I can do it, but I might be doing other things.

On the TNMT ranbat, I will seriously do it. I love that game like I love ST, because it is fucking retarded. On a more serious note, we really should try and do a BBCS ranbat.

Found the $20 Gaming fee before tod posted... as well as the TRE price. So for anyone looking to take the rail system down there it's...

$7.50 - Train/Bus System (You want a Regional Day Pass) I would have been $5 if the location was just one stop closer on the TRE

$20 - Gaming Pass ($30 if you want a whole Friday Pass)

$5-$10 - BB Fee. There's also SSF4 if you want that. :I:

Total - $37.50 Assuming the entry for BB is $10.

I vote for a car pool? Then again, traffic might be ass that morning.

edit: Oh yes. Ranbats would be hot stuff.

Regarding yulecon:

Eh, I think I'd rather just host Friday than go to Yulecon. Plus, $20, 4 o clock when I could start earlier for free with my own comfort and possibly more setups, eh. Be sure to make semi-serious/serious BB players there aware of the dustloop thread for us though, Brandi.

Also, in case you're wondering jet/whatever, I can't do saturday, geo field trip.

Regarding ranbats:

Sorry for being so free, but what exactly is a ranbat, anyway? :psyduck: IIRC I've watched melty ranbats on spooky's stream..they had points and shit but I was unsure what was going on aside from gdlk matches.

-EX moves(bottom meter is normal heat)

-Drive esque button where people do attacks(most of their projectiles and some fancy moves which are often + frames) which take up the bar above their heat bar, which regens.

-High air mobility, got some 8 way dashes and stuff.

-Fuckign tons of projectiles. Game has some awesome zoning. Interestingly, it takes some inspiration from that touhou fighter I think, you can airdash thruogh projectiles, "Grazing" them. You may think this would break zoning, but it doesn't.

-divekicks and other heavy attacks that dont fucking suck

-Good ground pressure and oki.

-Looks like it has a pushblock like Vampire Savior and TvC, though not as common as those games, which is nice.
