Silmerion Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Potemkin laughs at the debates of girly men.Slayer and Order-Sol are more manly than Potemkin because they don't think they need steroids to be cool. The way you come back from that is just to point out that obviously there is nothing that can be argued in Order Sol's favor.Order-Sol makes manly fire and uses a giant slab of metal as a sword.
EasyModeNub Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Slayer and Order-Sol are more manly than Potemkin because they don't think they need steroids to be cool. Indeed Order-Sol makes manly fire and uses a giant slab of metal as a sword. Harry Potter also makes fire, therefore fire cannot be manly. The only thing that needs to be shown in order to prove that Slayer is the most manly is that he has a beard.... A BEARD! No other characters even have slight facial hair, so how can we tell they've even gone through puberty???? We can't! Therefore Slayer is the only "MAN" in the game and the only character that can be manly. All others are "boys" and thus unable to be manly. The giant slab of metal for a sword could be considered manly, if HoS wasn't still a mere boy.
Silmerion Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 The giant slab of metal for a sword could be considered manly, if HoS wasn't still a mere boy. ...Order-Sol is a Gear.
EasyModeNub Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 ...Order-Sol is a Gear. Who was once a human male who's transition into, and through, puberty was in question. Now he can never go through puberty. He is a male gear, with no facial hair... and thus a gear boy. (it's in a doujin somewhere, I'll bet on it ) Gear boys just like human boys cannot be manly, only boyly.(couldn't think of anything better:8/: )
RTSD Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 You weak attempts at insulting the majesty of potemkin have failed. Bow down before the man that really is THAT MAN.

That really doesn't hold water.

ElvenShadow Posted June 24, 2008 Author Posted June 24, 2008 Yea um, I dont wanna be a dick but take this manliest guilty gear character discussion to another thread. Thanks. Blog updated today! Please answer the poll!
Hideki Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 Option 2 seems to be the best no matter how you look at it. =D
thegame4ever Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 Tokyo bud, you can try, and even if you lose, we have your awesome reporting on how Ogawa would do, so it's a win-win situation! (Not really for you...but for us...I swear I never get bored of reading Ogawa shit). Best of luck! It's really sad when you write how you lost and shit, but it never hurts to try. Who knows you might get a strong ass team at tokyo, and don't forget to concentrate, cause I believe you can do better. Play your tournies as if they were casuals, the pressure makes you screw up I know. Best of luck once again.

I see your point and thanks for the encouragement, but even if I went to Tokyo next weekend there would be no Ogawa action since he already won a prelim and the finals arnt until 2 weeks from now for that C-4 block.

Ah well I musta read wrong cause I've been awake too long. So if there's no ogawa action, why not tokyo, wouldn't that be easier? Or am I missing out on somethin again
Bellevar Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 Try in Niigata...you have some time, so try to get good teammates and aim for SBO there. Maybe when you get to play casuals someone who will be - let's say - beasting there will agree to form a team with you...maybe.
Light_Nazgul Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 If you can get a strong team ahead of time for Tokyo, you can get a strong team for Niigata. You will just have to convince them to try Niigata. If comes down to picking them up at the tourney, you have about as good a chance at either playing casuals before the tournament, but I would imagine there would more players not making it leaving open spots in Niigata. Your chances are better for getting a spot in Niigata since there is no need to fight Ogawa's team in the final. This is it. Take them down and enjoy the concert.
Tsak Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 i would see whats up with Tokyo and if it doesn't look right go for Niigata you don't seem to have trouble getting teams sometimes and if you get a decent team for Niigata you can probably take it
NewTestament Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 Damn, when the fuck are they gonna get dollar Filet-O-fishes here!?
ElvenShadow Posted June 24, 2008 Author Posted June 24, 2008 ok basically both Niigata and Tokyo are a 3 hour train ride away from my town. But my town is in the middle of them, Niigata is north of where I live, while Tokyo is south. most Tokyo players dont want to take a 6 hour train ride which is why its gonna be hard to find a team to go to Niigata among who I already know. However, the comp in Niigata will be less brutal (though still tough). In Tokyo its hard to find a last minute team most of the time because most people already have consistant teams. Masutani NEVER does which is why I can often team with him last minute. Niigata is a pure gamble, but the last time I went there I teamed with Gahaku (the testament player) for DF2 and I found him randomly just by playing casuals at the arcade, and we won our pool undefeated until just getting cheesed by Eddie. He doesnt live in Niigata anymore, but theres a chance I could pull the same thing off with someone else if I have a whole day to find someone. The other thing is, this is a FINAL meaning if I win, I qualify. If I go to Tokyo and win, I just win a prelim which gives me a spot to fight Ogawa's team the following (and last) weekend. I will be entering the final prelim in Ogawa's block regardless. btw... I mailed Deno and he decided to stay with the same team as last weekend so he wont team with me. I dont blame him since they won the prelim and all. Id do the same in his shoes. (wow, 14% of people who read my blog want me to choke on fish and die! :vbang: )
jcyl29 Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 i voted that cuz i thought it was funny...don't mean it of course
ElvenShadow Posted June 25, 2008 Author Posted June 25, 2008 BREAKING NEWS!!! I just received a random email from Gahaku, the Testament player who used to live in Niigata. He just asked me out of the blue to join his team for this weekend. Looks like im going to Niigata! sweet...
thegame4ever Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 Ah dude that's awesome, best of luck. How strong is that team?
ElvenShadow Posted June 25, 2008 Author Posted June 25, 2008 im not sure who our 3rd is yet but Gahaku is very good. Go ahead and read the Niigata blog entree again and you can see how we did. We were undefeated in our round robin pool at the DF2 tournament. Ill ask who our 3rd is later today, im still at work right now
