deci Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Mike, vs Taokaka i've learned that 5c (tongue move) is really good anytime you can create a little space and anticipate him attacking from the air. 5c is really good anti air in general and leads to pretty good air combo / damage but it does come out a little slow. The other thing you can try if you want a quick anti air is 2b (the blob move). This doesn't work on every jump in, but it seems to be low profile and works on way more moves than you would think. So my suggestion is try 5c or 2b if you expect the over head. I'm not sure if this works for all spacings but these moves helped me get out of taokaka corner pressure.

I had a high fever that has been fluctuating up and down and some sorta viral infection in my digestive system so ive been having painfull diarhea... a lot.... JUST IN TIME FOR THE HOLDIAYS! :vbang: :vbang: :vbang: :vbang: :vbang: They sent me home from work today and yesterday and tomorrow and Friday I have to play Santa Claus for a bunch of kindergarteners On top of that, were supposed to have our end of semester enkai for work and its an over night deal on Friday night. I really dont know if I can even go. I dont really know if im gonna be making it out to Tokyo this weekend honestly. Sucks cuz I still had xmas shopping to do and wanted to play more BB and go to Currents xmas party but im in no position to drink. Im still going home to Chicago for sure and should be fine in time for Frosty Faustings since im already sorta getting better (a little) but this is seriously just some shitty timing. I may eventually post an abridged version of last weekends events in my blog since there was some stuff worth posting about. Sleeping all day takes up lots of free time

Funny thing... MFS found my facebook through Antti's and she told me she got sick too! It must have been from that food at that Finnish xmas party that was sitting out for so long! Im just surprised Matt and Richard didnt get sick too

Id rather not have to deal with diarrhea every 20 minutes considering how long it takes to get into certain game centers toilets or currents toilet sometimes and im still in no position to drink have fun though, and have a great xmas and new years too

One minor thing is, after the older lady I was sitting next bought me another shot, I did in fact throw up. Kept on drinking through it though. How are plans for the weekend shaping up? Getting out to the Inaka sounds like it would be refreshing, and getting some good sessions with you and Rod could be a good place to try out some new stuff free of arcade fees.

I guess having my third birthday in Japan, things are starting to get nostalgic or something, and I just thought I'd take this time to say it was such amazing luck the owner of that Shakuji arcade told me I should go to that tourney and we met. I probably would have significantly less of a beer belly though, haha.
