Casshern Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 you dont have an xbox. it is literally impossible for me to gather any practical knowledge without traveling 2-3 hours. i can't even practice basic punishes or baiting vs scrubs. i also have to deal with potential strong players picking a character i cannot get experience against. there is also a very large difference between a month and three months of practice with a character. i mean i doubt i'll have to play one, i even argued the dlc characters shouldn't be banned but that was also under the assumption you could play on online even if you didn't buy them. it's ore of an irritating deal than anything. then again i could just not enter blazblue which is a way better idea. i mean fuck, ic an play against makoto and had no matchup exp and beat that one guy but if i lost that would be entirely my fault. most people play on ps3 so yeah... i guess im just a minority in this situation and i wont enter the tournament if hes not available on xbox by like 2 weeks before the tournament. not trying to stir up drama or anything, make the rules how you want since i'm just an entrant, and i will or will not enter otherwise. Try and get some casuals going with a group of people on a PS3 so you can learn the matchup by doing rather than reading. Guaranteed there will be at least one or two Valks at Singles this year so you should be ready just in case.

This is NEC we're talking about, and we're expected to be on top of our game which means knowing your valk matchup. There's extensive matchup data for all characters vs. Valk now. I suggest taking at least a small look at that and playing it from there. Try and get some casuals going with a group of people on a PS3 so you can learn the matchup by doing rather than reading. Guaranteed there will be at least one or two Valks at Singles this year so you should be ready just in case. ehh. not really. this is dustloop. most of the "information" in those threads is the same as other DL "information". aka people haven't a clue what they're talking about, posting nonsense. even if the info was actually helpful shit, it will only get you so far, not being able to have played, or even practiced against a certain character means you're likely to get blown up, no matter what you read about.
