I don't hate BB especially, but there are a few things about it that piss me off royal. Combo length is the big one.

I think the longest regular combo I've seen in GG is Testament badlands loop, and even that doesn't feel that long. On the other side of the spectrum there's Litchi corner combos, Arakune curse combos with 2 supers, Noel double Chain Revolver combos, Ragna double Belial Edge, Taokaka tauntloop, and Hazama relaunch off the Big Bang Footer into another full combo.

A good portion of those make me fall asleep. It's not even that fun learning those combos either, it feels too much like work and less like fun which is why I play in the first place. I don't know, BB has a lot of positives not the least of which is helping to reawaken the fighting game scene, but I need to see more positive changes and less 20+ second long combos off of random hits before I'll get really interested again. This ain't Tekken.

Ok, so like I said in the past. My house is open for Blazblue/Guilty Gear sessions (might have shit on the side *cough* jjba*). If anyone has an extra ps3 we could get two setups for blazblue going. This is BYOC, but i am willing to share with whoever so long as i'm not up against them. It starts at 1 PM, and here's my address

I'm not sure if I have time; it's the last weekend before finals, and I have a lot of work to get done tomorrow. How late are you planning for this to run? Depending on how much work I get done tomorrow morning, I might be able to drop by in the evening.

Nope, the store isn't set up for it. We'd have to run our cable all the way across the store into their back office, and I don't think they'd really want to put up with that. I'm pretty sure there's power by where we need to setup, but no internet access except via wireless. I don't know how much bandwidth streaming requires, but maybe we could get away with streaming over wireless? For a large stream that definitely wouldn't work, but I don't think I saw the NCI stream get above about 40 people today.

In other news, fuck Emerson, fuck Thoreau, and fuck American Transcendentalism.

Edit: let me know next time you're having a gathering, GameGeezer. I really would have wanted to make it over today, but it's finals week. I know a lot of people around here are college students, so I'm sure you know how it is.
