Spirit Juice Posted April 22, 2011 Author Posted April 22, 2011 Yeah, start with slow inputs and gradually increase the speed at which you do them as you get more comfortable with using your dick the stick. Just practice every day and you'll get it relatively soon.

It took me about a month before I really felt comfortable on a stick, but as you may have noticed it varies a lot from person to person. This video was really helpful to me: Experiment with different grip styles and find what works for you.

tastylumpia Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 MvC3 seems to have some weird thing with registering qcf and holdover forward inputs creating DPs (like some other Capcom games), as well as registering qcfs when DP was inputed. At first I thought it was just me and my terrible execution, but a number of players have brought it up. I also noticed that there was some quirkiness to AH3 command interpreter, but I can't pinpoint exactly since I didn't spend much time with that game. Safest route is to go to training mode, turn on command history and try to clean up all your inputs.
