Arcade CT was fun when we weren't really sure about anything. On the second day, I knew all of Hakumen's C attacks were stupidly punishable on block, but as long as I played like they were +frames on block, then people fought it like it was +frames on block. Held that secret close, till after the c3 tournament, then dropped the game.

Isn't that funny? Play like it's a good game and people will believe it's a good game. Maybe training mode is actually bad for games.

Training mode is good and bad for games, since it lets you learn. A bad game that no one knows anything about will seem as fun as a good game everyone knows everything about because if no one knows anything, everyone plays like a scrub. It's why fighting games can be sold to people that don't play them. How many people bought SFIV just because it was a SF game? How many people bought it and know wtf they're doing? I guarantee that the majority of people who bought SFIV don't know wtf they're doing, and they play with people that don't know wtf they're doing, so it's fun to them.

like, fighting games just need good match making (after they get good online) and then scrubs will scrub out with other scrubs and have a scrubby good time, while tryhards try hard with other hards for a stressful tiresome time.

Last night I beat Ian with only Ensengas. Anti-Air Ensenga, zoning Ensenga, poking Ensenga, low-crush Ensenga, mixup Ensenga, ensenga Ensenga. If Order-Sol had a higher jump, maybe even crossunder Ensenga.
