So what are people doing on the 16th? That's my next day off. No doubt another lab session with Steve H and I. Matt, please find your own ride. I do not want to spend three hours (or more?!) of my day off driving around. If I'm going to be driving that long, I might as well go up to Joisey. If people want in on this hot GG instructional action, but don't want to be stuck on the pro tv, then please bring your own ps2 and GG.

Are they trying to avoid the whole "Taito type X^2 == Dreamcast" scenario all over again? They could just add some sort of unique digital signature to each copy, so that if it gets into the wild once more they can just check such instances against the signature to determine the origin of the leak.

So they network the cabs and upload the patch to existing systems? Or do they just put it on a HD? Or is the network just used to validate the software, like some "Genuine Advantage" bs that gets nixed by some torrented app?

It's the arcade version of onLive. Also it tracks all the money that goes in to the machine, and they take a cut of it.

I wouldn't go so far as to say it's like OnLive; it's not using a cloud service and making you play using a remote server where the game itself is processed.

This is the best idea ever btw. I mean it's not like Remote Play in my home LAN is so bad I can't even play freakin' FFVII on it; let's make it travel over a WAN now and play twitch action games!
