If anyone here has not yet seen 'Drive' do that very very soon! Just caught up to it..........so soooooo good. Btw been in Austin for the past month and heading back but been playing Tag2 as much as possible there, imo the best Tekken so far. Happy holidays !

Also anyone that wants to get into Tag2 i think it's good to start playing T6 since they feel the same in terms of movement and combos for the most part. They nerfed/changed some character properties and combos but not enough to derail you from relearning some minor adjustments. Also Ogre is pretty good, very good TA combos with several characters and high damage. Overall the game feels more polished in comparison to T6. Jun is pretty cool and has a lot of pressure/mixups and she has tricky delay setups. Sucks this don't come out until 2012 4th quarter.....lame.

Ogre is good in the right hands who mains them. He has legit solid spacing tools, good frame traps and decent high lows....tons of mids which means a good Tekken character. Also Happy New Years everyone!

Have you tried Jin, I really like his new df+1~1 thing, stance cancels, and that new ub1+2 launcher thing

I haven't tried him yet but I was asking a Jin player from Dallas that came to visit arcade UFO for a weekend and said he is much better and more versatile with close range frame traps and with better options in general. I really like his cancels because it's what he needed since T5 (lol) to make better use of his other stance follow ups effectively. So far from what I experienced with the given amount of play at the arcade Tag2 feels much more solid. The movement feels good too in comparison to T6 really can't put my finger on it but it feels better. The environment feels more adequate in size (none of that Jungle crib size shit). There are few smaller stages in the game but still feels very spacious like i said nothing like that jungle stage in T6. The TA (Tag assists) system feels very good and potential for some crazy offensive mix ups including unblockables or resets. I can't wait to experiment more with this since the TA system will be a staple wall carry to more creative oki game.

I experienced with some differences in match ups too because of some buffs or nerfs to moves such as Lili sweep ( hit box shorter ) so it's not used as much anymore. The nerfs for Jaycee or Julia i felt are appropriate to balance her out for example her ff+3 is not air borne after hit anymore so no more full wall carry/juggles. But she can still land some hard one hitters like ff+2 or her new shoulder f 2+3 but no 40~45% damage stuff like before. Her ws 2~1 is not crumple unless CH and does hard knockdown clean. Little things like that makes a huge difference in damage output for her but she still feels very good. Though her mixups for the ws 2~2 is much better though since it's bound on 2nd hit and is natural combo and can go into big juggles. The Mishimas look very fun in this one and there are some good synergy when paired right. Also another cool thing about the TA set ups is you have a large window to buffer WR commands (f,f,f) during the tag assists to open up more options.

One thing that pretty neat is during TA you can do any move to extend the juggle, jabs, standing 4, 1~2, etc. but will end once the animation is done. For example I use Jaycee as point and Lee as partner so something like: uf 4~3 > stand 4 > shotgun~1 > shotgun~1+2 (bound) > TA lee > df 3,2,3 (launcher) > revert back to Jaycee> WR1 etc. But if your move has an extension or cancels into other moves it will keep on going until you stop or it limits hit cap so something the previous combo but: uf 4~3 > stand 4 > shotgun~1 > shotgun~1+2 (bound) > TA lee > b+2~mist step x 4 ~iws 2~3 or keep doing b+2 until wall splat and end it with wall combo. So leo for example can extend the carry to the wall much better.

Yeah, when I got my hands on it. I'd TA in with Devil jin, ff 3,1 ff df+3,2,4 and I stick with DVJ since the TA time ended. I really wanted to drop jin and find some other character, but it seems like if you have another character with good launchers/TAs (mishimas) you're pretty viable since they can do more damage or wall carry for the other character. Next time I think I'll be able to play TTT2 will probably be at Winter Brawl

DVJ/Hei is a very good team. Can't wait to see what Steve H does with Kazuya since his EWGF got good buffs.

Pat! Let's play gaems sometime!

If we do, can you explain to me what all this My Little Pony shit is about?

Some interesting combos with Jaycee/Lee but many of the damage reads were pretty close within those range but these are pretty good damage for little work.

Jaycee:

df 2~1 > walk a bit > f+2,2,1> dash~ f,f+1 > shotgun~4~1+2 > b! .... this combos alone does 45% and tons of combo potential.

Jaycee With Lee TA:

df 2~1 > walk a bit > f+2,2,1> dash~ f,f+1 > shotgun~4~1+2 > b! >TA Lee > df+3,2,3 > TA ends > f,f,f+ 1 Jaycee ....this combo did around 60~65%

Jaycee: unteched CH 1,1,1 > f,f+3 > f 2+3 .......this alone did 50% but Fubarduck said he saw 65% out of it need to test again for actual damage read.

Jaycee/Lee: uf 4~3 > stand 4 > shotgun~3~1>shotgun~4~1+2 > b! > TA LEE > b+2 ~mist step > df 3,2,3 > TA ends > f,f,f+1 Jaycee....this did 65% for sure.

Lee/Jaycee: uf+4 > stand 4 > b+2~ mist step x2 > f + 4~3 > b! > TA Jaycee > db 1+2 ~ 1+2> TA ends > f,f,f 3~4 > db+3 ......this combo did 65~70%

Lee/Jaycee: b+4(CH) > forward jump 4> stand 2 > b+2~ mist step x2 > f + 4~3 > b! > TA Jaycee > db 1+2 ~ 1+2> TA ends > f,f,f 3~4 > db+4 ......this combo did 70~75%
