Zero000 Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 what about me ian Pat, would you like a ride up to xanadu today?
Sesshyru Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Puu.. Well, since you aren't gonna be at Xanadu, I will bug you here. You always said that level 2 GB comes out the fastest? GB level 1 and 2 have a 23 frame startup; level 3 has a 17 frame startup. Is it because it gets you away from the starting position faster?.. There is no data on how fast HOS leaves the starting position. My confused. Also, is there a list of Forced FD moves? ._.
DoomieJ Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Guys, NJ thread > MD thread by a mile right now. Bring some of that hate/saltiness/something out again.
Lord Orx Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Guys, NJ thread > MD thread by a mile right now. Bring some of that hate/saltiness/something out again. This.
Sesshyru Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 No. Peace and tranquility. *zens* Besides, we have only MDVADC in here. You guys got mid West, West coast and East coast all up in there. Cheaters I say!
Lord Orx Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Peaceful MD/NoVA is boring. Where are Shezmu and Alex, Matt Coma? Their aura of drama made this thread interesting. Now I gotta hang out in jersey for my workday entertainment. Do something entertaining, Ian.
4r5 Posted October 6, 2010 Author Posted October 6, 2010 Oh, I misread the framedata, good shit on the double check. Anyways, you should stick to Lv2 anyways. You spend far too much time trying to build Charge. I would say you shouldn't spend anytime building charge at all. As long as you're CCing and AC(frc)ing you will get your charge, without having to sacrifice momentum or any sort of situational advantage. Plus, Lv2 Savage Fang is awesome. A move that is plus frames on block AND freezes inputs is an great offensive tool for a character like Order-Sol. Also, anti-airing with GunBlaze has less to do with startup and more to do with positioning. I think about 90% of your failed AA GunBlaze attempts are due to a lack of position and not due to a lack of a fast startup GunBlaze. And reactions too. Sometimes people IAD on you, and you wait for them to get in position for a GunBlaze, and you end up with a crossup GunBlaze, instead of a guaranteed GunBlaze. What you should be doing is running up and meeting them in the middle. You need the reactions to get the positioning, to have the GunBlazes. Also, GunBlaze has the same startup and recovery in Slash and AC. Maybe my AA GunBlazes are just that much more awesome :O
4r5 Posted October 6, 2010 Author Posted October 6, 2010 Also, is there a list of Forced FD moves? ._. It's in the frame datas
Sesshyru Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Level 2 SF has a 7 frame recovery with +7 on block. That means it puts you both at 0,0 on block >.>?
4r5 Posted October 6, 2010 Author Posted October 6, 2010 I see I need to finish up my frame data guide soon. It means after your recovery is done, your opponent still has 7 frames of recovery left.
4r5 Posted October 6, 2010 Author Posted October 6, 2010 so who here doesn't know frame data? and for those who do, try to remember your troubles in trying to learn it repostin
4r5 Posted October 6, 2010 Author Posted October 6, 2010 Also, is there a list of Forced FD moves? ._. It's in the frame datas. Under the guard column, F means you have to FD in the air. It says that Order-Sol's j.D you have to FD in the air which is not true. So always remember to double check. In fact, just load up your ps2 and test it all in training mode.
Sesshyru Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 In fact, just load up your ps2 and test it all in training mode. PAT YOU SO MEAN MAN WHY?
4r5 Posted October 6, 2010 Author Posted October 6, 2010 THE PS2 IS RIGHT HERE, YOU JUST GOTTA TAKE IT
Lord Orx Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Ian, have you posted in that "Why are combos so hard" thread in that beginner's area?
Lord Orx Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Also, if steve h is at Xanadu, someone should ask him how his saturday night went...
