looks absolutely phenomenonous, and hope that the storyline would make some sense this time, oh wait, who the fuck cares about story from Bioshock.

also should I bring over DR2 this week?

EDIT:

BB GAME - sorry for being noob but are we watching the basketball game on TV in a suite? it's must be high tier if it's actually what i'm thinking of; sports reporter's room alike. not too sure if I will be down yet, have to wait till the first day of Oct to know my work schedule.

SC - timer is free junk. you can screw that mind game you're talking about easily by "scouting" vigilantly.

bioshock infinite traded water for airrrrrrrrrrrrr

i'm still waiting for them to take the respawn chamber mechanic from bioshock 1 and make it the core plot and gameplay element

The main problem I think is not low level play or high level play, but middle level play. This mainly makes people lazier in learning and understanding stuff like timing attacks and resort more to stuff like "hmm, around this time I should have a Lair." It's a good thing or bad thing depending on how you look at it. It just seems to be the trend in decreasing the ceiling at which the game is played at.

yeah I'll definitely agree to that last statement; I think they're trying to increase the general appeal of the game to make it marketable to a wider audience. whether this is because they want to make the rts genre more accessible, or if they just want to make more money, is another thing entirely (I'd bet on the latter). the discrete leagues are a clear sign of that, but the clear gap in skill between each still shows that no matter how hard you try to remove it, the ceiling will always be there - some people simply aren't hardwired properly (e.g. poor multitasking) to play an rts well.

speaking of ceilings, too bad you can't patch away gender discrimination. oh, sociology!

gabe: maybe with this incarnation they'll showcase OMGAMAZING AIR EFFECTS. wait, how would that even work?

I'm pretty much done arabesque, just need to touch up two or three sections to make them smoother. after that it'd just be the general stuff like effecting a better pianissimo, smoother transitions on both pedals, and getting it to flow better as a whole, but that'll all come slower

song is pretty pimp, but is it from twilight? I didn't think so. hard to top CLAIR DE LUNE or MOONLIGHT SONATA. maybe later though.

took a quick look at the sheet. forget techniques or dynamics, you failed to remember the number one problem with playing anything by rachmaninoff

FINGER SPAN

otherwise technically this is manageable, dynamically harder to say. I've heard the violin original and I do agree that it sounds better though.

last time I played rachmaninoff I had to arpeggiate everything and it's just not the same

I'm familiar with liebestraum yeah. same problem with that piece, and I think certain passages are technically beyond me

you get the right to complain once you can also play sweet shit. besides who are you to call debussy "not sweet" he's fucking fantastic

lol @ speaking of kreisler

My FFXIV CE came with a buddy pass for a free 30 day trial, if anyone is interested I can give it.

From what I played, I liked, but I'm just going to wait for my friend to give me his FFXIII code to get those damn Asura Armguards. :psyduck:

Ono: "I think the balance of SSF4 on the home console wasn't too bad, but if there was one thing that I regret, the game was a bit too well-rounded. There were some moves that were relatively strong, but in the end, there weren't any strikingly heel characters because of that."

4Gamer: "Like Sagat in vanilla SF4?"

Ono: Right. So we're touching the game, and adding more of that kind of inbalance. We want to purposely add in things that are like, 'Huh? This's been weakened, what am I supposed to do?', and, 'If I use this character, people might think that I'm just picking it for its tier'.

Some observations from Fight Club Chicago:

"

- Doom/Dante's missles are overheads. And they are assists. So overhead assists. Hooray unblockables.

- I have yet to see an unsafe special move that isn't Shoryuken.

- Push blocking pushes them anywhere from half to full screen depending on if they were grounded or not."
