ghostgoodboy Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 man seems like my procured driver license is not so smoothly as it is, if you guys remember I mentioned that my "FUCKING CHINESE" coach lost his cell after my exam. so to add a little more details, old fucking man is coming back without any god damn clue and accusing me irrationally for stealing his cellphone, and has shown intention of going after my work/school/family to check on my personal records. According to him, as that I have no recollection of his little "shitty" phone whatsoever, his last used his cellphone at the library parking lot to call me. I didn't even pick it up because I was already walking towards there. Long story short, we got to Loguheed ICBC for booked road test and I killed it, during which the coach was at ICBC alone. Then the moment I got my temporary license he came up to me saying his cellphone is lost. Shithead thought that it was me mocking with him and had his phone on me somewhere, even did a body search. He went questioning the examiner as well, she nothing. I asked him if he had been anywhere during my test, he said a nearby McD and sweep searched the path he walked. All that hassle that day was ended because he had another appointment with another student, at least that I thought it was over. He went back that China for 2 weeks on that night. Cell rang when I was trying to take a nap in the afternoon, oh shit it was douchebag. And given that two weeks that he spent thinking, along with the worthless friends who’ve all inclined to put guilty on my head, he now thinks 100% that it’s Ray who fucked around with him. Dipshit can’t even come up a reason as to why I would want his crap when I have a baller X10. He started making up shits that have absolutely nothing to do with it at all, like I stole it because there’s important info in the chip card, and I was like “why the fuck on earth would I want it for, I don’t even know you enough to know what info is vital.” It was virtually impossible to suggest or convince him that he might have lost his phone himself. And man, talking about a good heart bitten by a vicious dog, I was trying to help him find his phone the whole time. I will not, unless someone has killed one of my important persons, mess around with my karma for screwing up others livelihood for nothing. The standard characters have some pretty damn hard combos but Sentinel and Magneto's combos are ridiculously easy. For example, the hardest sent combo in mission mode is probably still easier than the most basic fast fly setups in mvc2. And magneto can airdash cancel for at least one or two dead easy relaunches; that mechanic is essentially no different from mvc2 but the leeway you have on every hit is enormous. Oh and Doom can loop molecular shield in combos with the right assists. That was incredibly hard compared to rocket punch OTG death combos.

There's a mission for Doom where you have to molecular shield without an assist, corner only I think. Feels hard as shit to pull off.

Cardinal_Sin Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 I'm not really sure how it works but you get a certain number of points every time you play any mode. Me and Mike were mostly in mission mode. I finished the game once in arcade mode and I think I got the same amount of points as the equivalent time spent in training / mission. You end up spending a pretty long time in mission mode partially because of the challenge, but also because there's no quick restart button. It's really annoying when you activate xfactor and drop the rest of the combo, since xfactor lasts a good 10-20 seconds or so.

Go to training mode>pick characters>play for like a minute>Character Select>Repeat>go to the main menu>done. Not even a joke. I think everytime you switch modes it unlocks someone.
