Long, new+ the enemies are 40% stronger so it's pretty much like starting new but you know. oh btw, did you use the glitch at all? too bad DarkSs probably won't arrive to our doors until mid Oct.. because I used Jew-deliver to buffer more time in to do other stuff before I sink myself into it. at the phantom thing, I guess whoever needs help going through the game will be the one who summons, I don't think summoned players get story progress other than just souls. I'll do some research on how the online works in DarkSs then we'll figure out. FUCK I CAN'T WAIT. lol mail Demon's Souls to Mike, gotta make niggugh player.

Cats jump all over the place and will happily bat and shred things if you don't keep it all locked away. Plus you have to house train it, which is a pain. Odds of the upholstery surviving the cat is also kinda eh. And if you are going to go on trips, you will need to either have it used to getting food from a timed dispenser (which costs money but whatever) or you'll have to have somebody look after it for a bit.

nagai Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 (edited) Vu left his cat at our family's place when he went to university... in the early years, the cat was a pain because he would pee on everything so we got rid of his balls. We don't have our cat declawed either, so a lot of our furniture has been destroyed. You may not like how animals shed fur a lot-- it really makes a mess. on the plus side, they're easy to take care of... just gotta feed it and change the litter box at bare minimum. for someone living alone, I think a dog is much cooler to have around... but they're so much more work. I always thought my apartment would be too constricting for a pet but I learned today that it's apparently not a big issue for cats. I'm not partial to any of the furniture in my place and apparently scratching posts solve many of the problems related to things getting destroyed, though I'd definitely have to clean up and throw a bunch of shit out/move it into storage. I read up on declawing and it's apparently not a cool thing to do to your cat. I'd have someone come by to check up on the cat if I leave town, yeah. But apparently timed dispensers and such aren't a big deal for cats because unlike dogs they're quite good with controlling themselves, so I can just leave dry food out. And worse comes to worst the best solution is apparently to leave the cat with a vet or with someone specialised to watch cats for owners. I'm considering adopting an adult cat so house training/etc is a non-issue, it would also already be spayed/neutered and have all its shots. My primary concern I think is with the constant stream of people I have and the various loud noises (gears, mahjong, piano, etc). Some cats deal better with that than others. Gotta take it all into account.

AfuckenLOT that's how much. My cat goes crazy when he sees the healing fairy from Shining Force 1. gotta get that on camera. Mike: Dogs are nice, but a cat is fine too. After having both cat and dog, I prefer taking care of a cat more... Cats are much more low maintenance and they seem smarter (or less food driven... my dog seems dumb because he always does things for food). I like my dog more though because he's more friendly/loyal while the cat doesn't give a shit. We always leave a lot food out for our cat. He eats when he wants to and he's not fat. I always thought it was just our cat though. I dunno, there are some fat cats out there... The biggest pet issue for me is the messiness. Be prepared to deal with fur. I've never realized how dirty my old house was until I moved out... and it's because I realized how fur-less my new place was. Fur can make a place feel more uncomfortable too, especially dog fur (the thick kind). if you're gonna get a cat, get an OCELOT. or if you go plain cat, get a BLACK CAT, they're so cool.
