GGs tonight guys, my Hakumen is getting a little better, I did all right against KC's Jin and Nazir's Ragna.

Big news; apparently all grounded B, C and D moves are air unblockable in CS2. Did BlazBlue just get hardcore?

incase people didn't knotice, when they say "air unblockable" they actually meant "you need to FD to block in the air" kinda like GG...

its actually quite a dumb change... characters like lambda... :vbang:

Maybe they just mean the melee moves, which would make sense.

Making Lambda's swords air unblockable would be dumb as hell.

Lol yeah, they're not actually unblockable, you just need to barrier guard in the air. It's a really good change, jumping out of pressure won't be as viable.

im fine with that change because jumping is pretty broken atm unless they want to make jumps slower so u can catch them on startup, but they need good balancing for th at (ie lambda swords) lol

They should have another loketest if they're doing this major game changer. I mean, jeez. Some characters are going to be retarded with their B and C moves as air unblockable. It just needs to be balanced out...Lol Mu and Lambda.

cambridge hasnt been out in a while :( and im going to quebec next weekend, so i'll see all you guys in 2 weeks! been doing some secret GG training, but instead of hearing 'here comes daredevil' i keep hearing 'here comes terrible' anyone else? or is this just a sign?

also now that master kou is back, is there going to be a tourny soon?

hazama as well.

i don't feel lambda/haz would be too big of a problem.

i mean i don't have a problem with axl in GG (ok not really the same thing).

if you want, the could just make an exception for projectile normals.

edit: p.s. seems like they're trying to balance lamda with this change by making lambda's drives have more recovery. and uh, hazama apparently has no combos.

making BB less escapable sounds really good

and VV starter to SW loop is nuts lol

edit: why is jin not being changed, i want him to be changed so i can complain like everyone else

Yes let's make it less escapable so everyone has to work less harder to get their damage in. Sounds just like the BB I know.

Gee I didn't think of that one. That's why I play guilty gear. ^____^ A game that already has this in its engine and yet still requires more effort to get your damage in.

But really, the improvement on offense outweighs the difficulty added on defense. Holding 4+two buttons as opposed to just holding 4 in the air isn't making the game that much more difficult lol.

But what do I know, I'm just a scrub.

i'm really interested on how hazama will turn out, cuz all of the old BnBs are gone. but its not like being low tier has affected us much in toronto lol...this sux tho everyone is getting good practice time for GG but im stuck writing essays for my reading week...

First, I don't think it's a good idea to do 2D loops. Just do it one time per combo. You're gonna have to learn the Volante part.

As for actually doing the 2D stuff...iad into opponent, J.2c and release 2D at the same time...

I need to relearn Carl...hopefully BBCS2 doesn't have crappy balancing.
