Likewise, it's inaccurate to use your own circumstance and compare it against my 10 years of growing this community. Everyone who's been here long enough agrees with my view. We could all go on and give plenty of examples, but I couldn't care less about convincing you. In my younger years in the community, I had to bus 3 hours each way just to play for 2 hours, then bus back home for another 3 hours. After repeating this for years, I became one of the best. People like you and me are rare.

I'm going to formally host another gety tourney near the end of January for CS2 & GG. Let's see how many people are talk and who can back their shit up.

Yeah, I'll give you that. I'm only talking about myself.

Leo, and anyone else, can any of you guys criticize me. I don't care how blunt and straight forward it is, I really wanna improve my games. I feel like I was stuck behind a brick wall for a long time, but I really wanna over come it. Just like you said Nazir, I wanna take the top now.

so ya, next time when u show up at gety, we will know " o, Fugu is here" ^^

don't take online talk personally, it is rule #1, online doesn't mean anything. all those essay bastards are frdly follows, when u see them in person they are nothing u see wt they are like on forum.

just say hi to anyone u see waiting in line next to you. and start asking who is this player playig right now can easily start of conversation, and this way u get to know who they are too.

i am the chinamen with glasses :china: i started my character a week or so, still very green in this game, lets work together and share gaming ideas.

What the hell are you talking about? The only socializing I did in kindergarten was when the bullies asked me for my lunch money and I said "It's in my pants... T____T".

Sup I was just lurking the thread and came across this. Most of us from Montreal couldn't come to your tournament last week because we had exams, and the guy who could go (Brice), had planned on going with some SF guys, who ended up not going (something like the guy with the car couldn't come and they weren't able to rent one last minute, I'm not really sure about the details though)... bad timing I guess =/

Anyways, at least me and Brice are interested in this, especially if BBCS2 will be running. We'll see if anyone else in our community would be interested in coming, there might be a few. By the way, most of us are pad warriors, so would there be a way to use PS3 pads on the arcades? If not, I'm guessing that means it'll be time to make the transition to stick, it would have to be done eventually (we're not horrible, just not as used to it). Please give us more info when you guys can, if we're able to reserve stuff ahead of time, we'll be able to save some money :P

On a side note, our community is coming along really nicely, we just had a sort of improvised tournament this Sunday with 19 people. No entry fee, the prize : a doughnut. We're all leveling up nicely and new people join us constantly. I guess this is how it is when a community of this kind is still young. So far, so good.

Also, there's a pretty big SSF4 tournament in Montreal on January 8th (1000$ pot bonus to the winner so far o.O ) and we're having a BBCS1 side-tournament. I don't know if you some of you guys feel like making the trip, we'll definately be doing a lot of casuals. I went to T11, and if things haven't changed (and my memory could be wrong), I don't remember seeing a bang, litchi or makoto player, which we happen to have, so there could be at least some matchup experience to get. Videos from this weekend's tournament and casuals should be up this week so you guys will be able to judge our level so far. Holidays are almost here though, so incoming grinding.

I didn't mean to start a war of arguments and it's good to see that everything has calmed down. Again, i'm just voicing my opinion so there was no hate towards my post. My opinions are my own. You can take it with a grain of salt (no pun intended).

I certainly try to make an effort to come to Ghetty but Fridays is never good. I do come thursdays but nobody shows up. :(

I'll try to make an effort in coming more now that there are plans to have BBCS2 plus SSFIVAE. I can only imagine the lines but that's what arcade is all about.

Did the boss mention how he is going to obtain BBCS2 by the way? I'm curious.

Please post up when the CS2 is out or even SSFIV:AE. I'm sure nobody will go on Friday right? Any players coming on thursday?

i hope you guys know i'm well aware of my power level in relation to people at gety, if i act like a cocky douche its by accident q.q i'm just really, iunno how to put it >.>

you guys are all nice people, and always gimme criticism/tips when i ask for it :3

also; i walk to steeles back everyday from gety at like 2 or 3am, and the cold ain't stopping me, i'm going to stop dropping slayer combos and be consistent with them, also i need to learn block strings or something, i just try going right for them mixups

sweet, somebody is selling a 27inch crt for 50 bucks in my condo, i'm buying it and a ps2 >.> fuck being a scrub
