Toronto BB and GG: FIENDS ONLY Part II

I took BB serious back in CS1, but since not playing ANY fighting games since CS2 came out, it feels like I'm relearning how to use a damn stick. I'm gunna blame it one how shitty those sticks were (I understand they've been replaced) but failing hotenjin and random inputs coming out sometimes makes me so mad. I guess I'm expecting to just be able to pick up where I left off when I stopped playing. Not really workin out for me though. Also with my daughter and my job, I don't have much time to practise. AND the only match up experience I get in cambridge is same old bang, ragna, and tager, playing like it's still CS1.

I wish I could come out to gety multiple times a week, or netplay wasn't so lame.

no it was definitely the sticks. even on one side the d button and forward was fucked up on a new set for a while. you'll probably do better next time you come because all our stuff isnt complete gluey crap anymore

don't worry kyle, i was pretty fucking annoyed at the sticks as well.

even with the debacle that was the last tournament, i'm glad i was able to get those replaced. big thanks to mr. mortified.

Also, GGs today. I don't know if Friday Gety is good for me anymore, since i have classes from 9am - 6pm with only 1 break at 2pm. I'll probably be totally burned out every time I go to Gety T_T

One more thing, the father and the son are way more fun than Jin ^_^

holy crap had an amazing dream during a 4 hour nap

the first part was SO WEIRD. I'm not sure if i was even dreaming or not, but im pretty sure i was dreaming because i ended up not smoking any weed today, but i felt like i was high for a good few hours

Now from here it gets a little blurry but i think right after i was in like a majora's mask esque world, kind of like a closed dungeon type of thing. if anything it was like penumbra:black plague's last few levels, where you are tripping the fuck out. I can tell it was like majora's mask, because there were songs that you played and it looked exactly like what you would see when you use your ocarina or instrument. there were masks that changed the weather for some reason, so i guess it has a bit of an oracle of seasons feeling to it

the next part was like really odd, it was kind of like a big korean department store, but the last time ive been in one of those was for ever so i guess the closest comparison would be like somewhere like ikea or a furniture store, i dunno. some guy was selling games at one part and i distinctly remember seeing mech games for sale that were on xbox like chromehounds, AC4, and ACFA. LIKE I SAW THE EXACT GAME COVERS DAMN.

after that i talked with a friend i havent talked to in a while, and basically he was like yo, why arent we doing anything together anymore man? and i basically said, yo if you wanna hang just gimme a call, we're still good man. and then for some reason i broke into his house and he had a fat little sister that looked southwest asian

the last part was REALLY weird. like it was like watching a stream of a fighting game, but it was like a portal and you could just like GO INTO IT man it was hella weird. I kept seeing renic for some reason, and i think Eric Lee told me that Leonard Loo told me to come to gety or something and wtf? they dont even know each other haha

that was a fucking great dream, id love to have one every day like it

And yea, I realize certain characters are frustrating players at Gety right now, and getting streaked 30 games isn't very motivating. Can't really do anything to prevent this, just think about the match-up guys.

I think we need a console session since those are generally much better for learning than playing at Gety. Also, a lot of players need training mode, which won't happen until the US version of Extend comes out in February.

People need to learn matchups, but before that they need to get comfortable with their own character first.

yea I would agree to this.

Basically a typical day at gety is playing vs either Tager, or Arakune, both are characters that have their own matchup and you dont really learn how to play the game.

And at this state, nobody can do training mode roldy. Are u suggesting we take on the NAH ways?

I actually like that Brian is getting that win streak, motivates me to try harder. However, because of that win streak, i was not able to play against anything but Tager. I really don't like his voice actor whoever it is. Good games, though.

Why is Leo not playing Valk, i need valk match up, i always get my face raped, gimme 10games in a roll and i will get it figured out.

but i am thinking the match up i am gaining is toward the player's style instead of the character, cuz most of you guys can't even play your character properly. =\

John is still learning, but i have no worry , all he needs is time. go learn the game system.
