I used to live there as a child, then my family moved to the slightly warmer state of NH Thanks to blueNINE for tipping me off to the NorCal Install stream. Did anyone else see it? I feel terrible for Digital Watches. He lost to Hellmonkey in GGAC singles grand finals. Then he lost to him again in the norcal vs socal 5v5, and finally he challenged Hellmonkey to a ft4 MM only to get trolled by dodgemonkey's Potemkin 4 games in a row. A list of players and a list of local events would be great. Mike from Digital Mayhem recently got in touch with me to let me know about their new place. Maybe we can run events there. Here are some details: Location: 220 North Colony Street, Suite A Wallingford, CT, 06492 Phone: (203) 793 7712 Mon - Sun: 11:00am - 11:00pm We have HD TV's but we do have 8 or so SDTV's that we can bring to play on if needed. This is what we have for HD TV's in all honesty I have no idea about the lag and what not but the response time is 6.5 ms so it should be pretty decent but like I said we have some SDTV's we can bring in just not as many as our HD tv's =p. IF that's ok for you we can work something out maybe do a BlazBlue: Continuum Shift or anything to be honest. And for anyone wondering (cause I was, and looked it up), the EVO monitors from ASUS have a 2ms response time. Just as a comparison.

Response time is how long it takes the pixels on an LCD to actually get the right color, so a slow response time can make for a laggier display ... The big issue with HDTV lag, though, tends to be more about the fact that HDTVs try to make images scale up real pretty and such, and waste (relatively speaking) shit-tons of time applying some mystical filters that, in reality, do jack shit to make the image any better. Everything needs to stop being 1.5+ hours from me! Correction: You need to stop being 1.5+ hours from everything else. ... or you just need to be like me and not care.
