Ryuuka Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 (edited) Dormammu is hot fire. Literally. I felt so lucky that I unintentionally counterpicked Phoenix with my team. I would play her but I like actually using my super meter. Edited February 16, 2011 by Ryuuka
Tempered Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 who doesn't counter pick phoenix? Just snap her in before 5 stocks and try and rape her.
Imperfect Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 I would be scared of Phoenix if it wasn't for the fact that she takes damage like a bitch. And if she starts to resist, land a stagger and go into X-Factor mode and watch her die in 5 hits lol
Ryuuka Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 Except she's actually a pretty solid character outside of her awful health. Morrigan assist makes her imba. GGs btw.
Imperfect Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 Aye GGs. Gonna get the game and then actually learn a team and not just play Doom and two scrubs lol
Chumaralupa Posted February 17, 2011 Author Posted February 17, 2011 Ray, after thinking about it, the complete lack of okizeme in this game would make sense to give you more stock for a spike instead of going for more damage. But that doesn't happen anyways, it's just always better to go for max damage instead of knockdown in this game.
Theupstreamer Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 Dude if you think there's no oki just get chun li assist.
Asianblade75 Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 HE'S SO PRINGLES. WHERE YO' CURLEH MUSTACHE AT? SCOOOOOOPS. We should go to EVO and just make randomass memes like this.
Chumaralupa Posted February 17, 2011 Author Posted February 17, 2011 Dude if you think there's no oki just get chun li assist. Lol, no what I mean is that on wake-up you can roll to the sides or get up neutral, which is a moot point because you can't get punished for roll teching in this game, so you should really never wake up neutrally. Even if you call Chun-li's assist on your position, you still have to guess where they're going to roll, and even then they'll still get up and block. Anyways, just got back from school so I might try practicing this game a bit.
Theupstreamer Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Ruben I don't know if you know this, but making people block in this game is pretty damn good haha. I think catching someone's tech roll and forcing them to block is a victory in my eyes considering all the keep away in this game.

Well yeah it is, pressure is always good, I'm just saying it's a 50/50 everytime you knock them down. That's why this is the only game where I think ending in a super for more damage is just a better idea overall. EDIT: Damn, you know this game is made for Americans when the mission modes are THAT easy. Edited February 18, 2011 by Chumaralupa
Ryd' Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Game is dumb. Arthur + Sentinel Force assist makes you better than 90% of the players. Might as well be playing IaMP. Actually knowing how to play Sentinel makes up for another 9%. On the subject of Sentinel, how in the fuck did they manage to screw up that badly? Or did they just not pay attention to the last decade or so of MvC2?
Chumaralupa Posted February 18, 2011 Author Posted February 18, 2011 Might as well be playing IaMP. Yeah that's how I felt.
tubazo1989 Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 ARTHUR+SENTINEL+HULK FTW! But seriously, as much fun as I am having on MvC3, why aren't we coming up to Flag so my Arakune can eat you guys?
Chumaralupa Posted February 18, 2011 Author Posted February 18, 2011 why aren't we coming up to Flag so my Arakune can eat you guys? 'cause BBCS2 ain't out yet.
M19Kamikaze Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 ARTHUR+SENTINEL+HULK FTW! But seriously, as much fun as I am having on MvC3, why aren't we coming up to Flag so my Arakune can eat you guys? *Checks calendar* Maybe if I'm feeling bold, possibly end of February, but DEFINITELY sometime in April. Mission Mode WAS fairly easy, even for the Dante Librarium. You learn more from the guidebook than the actual Mission Mode, which is depressing.
Ryuuka Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 why aren't we coming up to Flag so my Arakune can eat you guys? The same reason why you aren't coming down here so we can eat you alive in Guilty Gear.
Theupstreamer Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Ruben, Brian, Sam wants to play mvc3 tomorrow at his place but needs another ps3 copy. I'm going regardless, but do you guys wanna come and play too and bring maybe another stick or game?
Asianblade75 Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 ARTHUR+SENTINEL+HULK FTW! Saw this coming. But seriously, as much fun as I am having on MvC3, why aren't we coming up to Flag so my Arakune can eat you guys? We got Devastation for that.
Ky-Sama Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 On the subject of Sentinel' date=' how in the fuck did they manage to screw up [i']that badly? Or did they just not pay attention to the last decade or so of MvC2? It seems that they have not payed attention to how good Sentinel has been since X-Men: Children of The Atom (when Sent was first playable)... Sentinel has been really good/broken in every game he's appeared in (X-Men: COTA-MvC3); the only thing that seperates Sentinel in MvC2 from the others games is that he was hard to use...
