They have Isuka at MGL? I remember they had that a LONG time ago, I didn't know they still had it/got it again.

Played small amounts of Isuka and BBCS, although for the most part I just stood around talking mad shit about Starbursts

Damn, I didn't expect that many responses, oh well sounds like it was fun.

Erik have you tried messing around with Maori yet? (No sexual innuendo intended)

Fuck. If I ever make my own custom stick, that shit is going to use those BBCS1 sticks they had at MGL.

Those things were legit...ly bad.

Lol. I haven't made much progress Ruben. I hate grinding training mode with a new character, but I hate not knowing what to do when I actually fight someone...but after seeing some of her hype combos in the last NCI, I want to stick with her.

Jimmy if you ever get a stick you should use this as the artwork:

Anybody gonna find their way up here in Flagstaff anytime soon? Or am I gonna have to yell at you guys when I'm down in Phoenix? I've been playing too much online play with BB:CS, and need one of yall to own my ass locally to prove that I'm not ready for EVO.

Do you know where PCP is Tubazo? It's a comic/games store in Tempe. We usually meet there Wednesday and Fridays. To be honest, most of us play GG (only a few of us like Jimmy, Ruben, or I really play CS right now), but once Ruben gets home from his trip we'll likely be able to play more over at his place.

Yeah we . . . don't really . . . play bbcs anymore.

Ever.

We already filled the bbcs quota when spiteful came down.

Now if you wanna do mario party money matches, that's still on the to do list.

We're waiting on Ray to bring the Mario Party hotness.

But yeah, BBCS is kinda unhype. Even Isuka was more exciting.

Tubazo, just wait till BBCS2.

Erik, I was just wondering cause I was having troubles with the ~~623X HC JB JC J623X~4B JB jc JC land - ender combo, for some reason if I start the combo with 623X I can hit the JB sometimes or sometimes they're too far below me or too far up, if I start with the standard 3A 5B 6B 5C gatling then they always tech after the J623X~4B . Have you tried this/ had any success? It doesn't really matter too much though, there's a million other things you can do for good damage anyways, the wiki is pretty shallow, I feel like writing some stuff in for the chars I've been practicing but I am far too lazy to update wiki pages.

Anybody up for hanging out late Friday? If things go as I'm planning I'll be getting back Friday night.

If you ever decide to come down to Phoenix Tubazo, I'll play you in some BBCS.

And if you want to get into Guilty Gear, I'm down for that as well.

To be honest Ruben, I have trouble doing her "...homing jA, 623X, 4X, 2AB" most of the time. But maybe it is just a spacing issue. And if you could write some more optimal stuff into the wiki (or just show me later) that would be awesome.

so much more exciting.

I need SOMEONE to bring ONE more GC controller.

Well Ray, I do have a couple spare GC controllers laying around... as with some old version of mario party, mario golf and the sad GC version of mario kart.

I'm assuming you're talking about Maori given the move format. You can't do anything except the super after 623X 4B if you have more than like 2 hits prior to the launcher. EF might help since your attacks come out faster, and looks like it should be necessary for that since you can't cancel jC into anything at all without EF; without it, you're limited to jA/jB 623X 4B and then either 2AB dj jC or if you have a low hitcount, jC falling 5D (top hit) jB land 5B [finisher of your choice here].

There's a lot of stuff you can do with Maori, and I wouldn't really consider launch into 5D jA 623X 4B 2AB to be particularly good for the meter involved unless you EFC the launcher. Other fun stuff:

22A step 5A 5B jB 623X 4B jA jc jB jC (top hit) landing 421A/B 5D tech throw or land 5A 5B 623A 421AB if they don't wall tech. Doesn't work if you start with them too close to the corner. If they're in the corner, don't bother with 421A/B and go with step 5A 5B 623A 421AB instead since you can't tech punish.

If you're close: 421C 623X 4C jB land 5C (top hit) 5C (optional) oki setup or after the top hit, 5B 623A 421AB, or 5B jB 623X 4X 2AB, though the last one usually doesn't hit fully.

There's also the old BBC loop...

For some reason I didn't think you had a PS3, anyways yeah I just learned today that Homing Canceling forcefully lowers un-techability time so you're supposed to go ground combo into 623X EFC NHC JB JC then delay the hell out of 623X~4B J5B whatever, I figured that HCing the ground 623X would give the same effect to use a meter instead of the Force Gauge, but it doesn't quite work that way.

If you're close: 421C 623X 4C jB land 5C (top hit) 5C (optional) oki setup or after the top hit, 5B 623A 421AB, or 5B jB 623X 4X 2AB, though the last one usually doesn't hit fully.

Yeah I was messing around trying to make up some combos similar to this, I'm not sure why but half the time the last 2AB hit fully and other times it didn't, obviously it's a spacing issue but you don't get a large window of opportunity to input the 2AB after the 4X, so delaying it long enough really isn't an option, what DID help me a bit is using 623A in the last part instead of any other button, but I was under the impression that they were all supposed to put the enemy in the same spot, maybe it has faster start up and therefore catches them quicker and brings them closer to you? Maybe I should check the Mizuumi wiki for some frame data.
