P4U was AWESOME! It was much better seeing it live than on Youtube. Not just a resolution thing either, something about the displays made those games look cool. I scrubbed it up, and got to see a lot, and I'm even more excited to pick it up and play it with you guys!

I personally played like trash during the team tourney. I take full responsibility.......we got double OCV'ed. The first one was understandable, it was against Spark, but damn that Tao mind-fucked me.

I did ok during the singles. beat DSmove, another noel player, and a hakumen on stream, then got beat by Dacidbro on stream when he switched to Ragna (Once that's online, I'd appreciate any and all pointers, cuz I think I choked pretty hard), then lost to that other noel player that I beat during a rematch (I think that other noel was Delta, and got close to top 8 or something?). It was pretty hype, and a fun experience overall!

I'm still looking forward to playing more BB with you guys, but after my horrible performance during the team tourney, I kinda felt done with BB in general. Don't get it twisted, I fucking love this game, but with P4U coming out and my confidence growing in UMvC3 (I made it out of my pool....IN WINNERS! I lost to Infrit, the dude who got 2nd in the whole thing, won against CJShowstopper, and lost to Jan outside of pools though.....yes, that Jan), I've kinda been feeling burnt out when it comes to BB. I'm still hyped for the future, but after this weekend, I don't see myself putting a lot of time into BB as I have done in the past.

Overall, it was an awesome time! Can't wait to go again next year! GET HYPE FOR FIGHTING GAME NEW-YEARS!

^The stream recordings for all side tourneys and P4 casuals is on twitch.tv/Xiei

In singles I won against the first two people I fought, then lost to The Biter's Valkenhayn. I tried to do fancy oki without meaty'ing properly beforehand and got blown up. I can't remember who I lost to in loser's. I must've lost so bad, I blocked the match out of my memory lol.

Teams, I was doing okay against Spark until I did an LK burst. Then it all went downhill from there. Of course, even if I pulled a win I'd have to reverse-OCV against Huey and Xie which would be some next level shit. In Losers we lost to AJ's Tao. He was legit and I don't think any of us really knew the matchup.

I wouldn't be so hard on yourself Tubazo; I think you should have done more things like I already mentioned but we were all dropping combos like it's hot. I hope you keep with BB or at least still play it for fun because we don't really have a lot of players left.

Haha oh I know Biter! Didn't know he still played Blaz. Were there a lot of entrants for BB?

Oh fuck, didn't notice because of EVO but apparently Tales of Xillia is actually coming over to the west. I forgive you for not giving us Vesperia PS3 Namco.

Does that mean you're going to go back to uploading walktrhoughs on your YouTube again? A lot of people were asking if you were the same guy who uploaded the other Tales and Persona walkthroughs during the EVO stream.

We got the testimonials from Erik and Lorenzo, how do you feel you did in BB Chris?

I could've done a lot better, but I kept dropping combos which ended up me losing my matches. I played against Huey in my pool. I would've won if I didn't drop my Fatal Hotaru combos, and my instant air-dashing which I kept messing up.

I completely mind-fucked myself when I would play against Spark.

I think if I worked on my Defense a bit more and know when to go on the offense, I'll become a much better player, as what I've learned through out my experience there.

In conclusion, I sucked at Evo. Not having to play against many players here in Arizona that are serious really makes a difference. We've got like 3 players here in AZ that are serious about BB, while Cali has A LOT more players. Not having enough offline experience against serious players is tough to play in tournaments.

I'm going to tell you guys right now that none of us play like the people at evo did. They actually had good mix up and really played to the game's engine. They were on the ball 100% and did good shit. It didn't even seem like it was about practicing combos for you guys. I've never seen you guys go for the same shit as these people did. I honestly wouldn't worry about it though. P4U is coming up so start focusing on that. I'm going to have to show you guys some new things though.

BB is pretty much declining in Japan like it is here. I overheard Chou saying that most of the top players over there play more Persona and that is was "nostalgic" to see so many people playing BB.

Lord Tenjo's son for playable char, then it turns out to be a daughter so we can have a kunoichi character.

so we did bad at evo? :( this makes me sad

I shouldn't have left! I abandoned my babies.... I'm a terrible mother

You are a terrible parent Justin.

Just kidding. But you totally should've come to expose everyone with your 1-week CSEX Bang.

We just need to play more and get better. Cali and PNW have regular meetups and events to play more and get better while we kind of just play whenever and mess around; we have good fundamentals we just need to practice more.

Jimmy. Go through a training arc in Japan and come back to body us all.

Goddammit... I know I should have just gone. I was blowing up Taos the whole weekend. But I get the whole tourney-influence/etc so if you guys did so well, I would have tanked much faster. Well, BB was fun while it lasted. Wish I could have seen you guys play (combination of working and moving apartments). Any good Lambda players worth mentioning?

Although you guys do have a point about the number of serious players AZ has in comparison to Cali. Maybe, if we could somehow summon Ruben and Vince's godlikeness...

No matter. So it turns out I may not be going to ASU next semester and might be heading back to GCC. I plan to make visits though if given the opportunity. Hopefully the gaming community there hasn't completely died out or gone into hiding since I left.

Which arcade closed in Japan?

If the P4U scene actually turns out to be strong here we can hold ranbats and tournaments at venues for it, try to expose ourselves to new people etc. over on the MayonakaMidnight forums I've answered questions for some of the newcomers who don't know/post on DL, I think that everyone here should try to hype up that thread with relevant or useless shit so it at least looks like we're going to be active for P4U.

Cheyne your avatar is awesome, I can't wait to get home to make mine, amongst other reasons.

There was this gdlk Singaporean Lambda named Zack wrecking some people. There was also Bloodwolf who I THINK plays on PSN who was really solid and a pretty cool guy. I'm pretty sure they were recorded on the stream.
