LegendaryRath Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Ryan, anybody who you can't beat consistently is still a person you should play more if you're trying to learn seriously. Agreed, I suppose that I just wish there were more people to play with. I'm looking forward to playing some Friday, but those sessions feel too spaced out for me (even if it's nearly every week). More than anything, I'm frustrated with my own patterns. The things I end up enjoying enough to take seriously end up being the least popular things imaginable. Maybe I should learn LoL or something.

There is a bigger audience who play more often than we do and they probably have Harlem Shake orgies afterwards. Haz will be more than happy to accept dat paypuh too. Not that I'm the biggest Marvel advocate right now, because I think the new meta is dogshit, but my point stands.

If I make it on Friday, it'll be a little late. My new boss decided that the entire staff should have a mandatory un-payed meeting on a Friday night.

I don't mind about the $10 entry fee at all (not really a price increase with only 3 days), but I still don't like Sundays. I will try to support the event.

You play it for your own enjoyment and fun. I think I am the only one of the group who actively plays league of legends lol.

Yeah just play DotA2, it's got as many or more players than LoL and will actually teach you good moba skills. As much as I love HoN I won't lie and say it's worth playing over DotA, that is if you're looking for the more competitive scene and larger number of players. What time is "late"? If I'll only be there for like 2 hours then it might not be worth making my parents drive me. Either way, we'll see how it all works out. Be patient, I'll be 18 only one day after your birthday. And I'll need to take a look at these games some more. I have no clue how either LoL or Dota work.
