Slab shits meter, so that isn't a problem, and I didn't see him abusing it raw. It's not like Slab needs meter for damage anyway. Keeping them off you so you can run your game is more important. Or am I the only one who does that? This is from 2010, but I still find it accurate, especially now that I'm waiting for you guys to talk about Evo.

There's nothing new and exciting out to replace it, and I've heard a lot of talk about people quitting after EVO. I'm not sure myself, but it's not like there's anything else that'll require large amounts of grind-time.

I haven't been taking it as seriously for a while now, but it's a fun game and I don't really see a reason to completely drop it if there's still interest in it.

What did you guys think of evo overall? Top 8 for p4a was really hype for me. Money matches were really fun and I somehow ended up leaving Vegas with more money than I came with. KOF, Smash, and Marvel top 8 were all hype. I was busy doing MMs and didn't really pay attention to SSF4, but I did watch Balrog get bodied by oily grapplers.

Chumaralupa Posted July 16, 2013 Author Posted July 16, 2013 EVO was fun but I was unlucky at the tables I think the best night was our drinking matches and the 17 dollar rubbing-alcohol vodka that was a total regret in buying. But at least it started tasting manageable after 7 shots. For the time being I'm not going to "host casuals" on a regular basis since there's really nothing to train for. I would like to hang out every so often but because of the heat situation and the fact that my AC has already died once, I think I'm going to keep the number of people over at a minimum till it cools down at night. If we get a randomly cooler Friday night I may spontaneously do something, but I'm probably going to just be doing other things on Fridays. Now if anyone wants to go out and do stuff I'm down for making plans.
