Dipstick Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 You gave up on that game. Remember? Can I play a fighting game casually once in my goddamn life?!? (No.) This comment irked me more than it really should, heh -- but sometimes it really is just best to cut bait on a failed endeavor.

I dunno man, you were going in REALLY hard with that game one night so eh I dunno about being casual. lol I've ALWAYS played T...*ahem* MB HDR casually. And I've stated it on multiple occasions! As long as we're on the same page, we can still be friends.....maybe. I was moreso poking fun at the night when we were "loke testing" the game. lol

I completely forgot about my reaction to that floor bounce glitch and thought it was about the other conversation we had a while back. To be fair, what happened there really was bullshit.
The Magnet Technician Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 So I live all the way down in Sierra Vista. Any FGC shit nearby?
TagAnarchy Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Hoo, damn. you are far, far away. I thought Tuscon was no-man's land. o.o Never knew where Sierra Vista was until now, but looking at the maps you could head to Tuscon for fighting game happenings. I don't know how the airdash scene is there though so....
LegendaryRath Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 So I live all the way down in Sierra Vista. Any FGC shit nearby? I'm not aware of any anime stuff in your area, sorry. At the very least, you could try netplaying some of us here since the connection would probably be ok. What games do you play?
Orrax Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 So I live all the way down in Sierra Vista. Any FGC shit nearby? The closest stuff is probably in Tucson. There's only a few of us playing anime fighters (mainly Persona and UNIEL right now), but there's a bunch of people who play Street Fighter or Smash if you're into either of those.
TagAnarchy Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 So I live all the way down in Sierra Vista. Any FGC shit nearby? Or you can always make the trek to phoenix whenever something is going down. That's a bit of a trek though, so it's understandable if you're restricted to netplay withe the phoenix folks.
Ryuuka Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 TFW checking dustloop and AZ thread isn't bold.
LegendaryRath Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Remember that the first monthly is today. I'll be there at 1:00pm setting up the stream, with at least one or two setups. Blazblue is at 2:00 persona at 4:00 and Uniel at 6:00 Please bring setups! The more we have, the better, especially since Ruben is probably busy playing with his new "friend"

Currently trying to find decent +R matches, but I've been wanting to get into UNiB and P4A and get back into Blazblue.

I wanted to play HF in UNIEL too I'm curious who my "friend" is.
Theupstreamer Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 I worked at the restaurant all day today, and when I was done I worked the restaurant.
Zeromus_X Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 GGs to everyone yesterday. Rooby, when you gonna host again?
Chumaralupa Posted November 2, 2014 Author Posted November 2, 2014 I was talking to Ryan about it, it's cooled down now, but UAT might just be a better place for games. I could host this Friday since I have to help a friend move Saturday, if you guys want. Or you can continue UAT on Saturday or Sunday, I could make it to UAT on Sunday.
LegendaryRath Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 GGs and thank you everyone who came to UAT yesterday. Thanks for helping things run smoothly too. I really don't think I can handle doing half of the work myself so I'm glad most of you are comfortable occasionally updating brackets, watching the stream, and talking to other players. Sorry about the short notice for the event this time. I'll have a date set for the next one within a few days. All of the tournaments have been uploaded to youtube already. There's an audio issue in the first 40 minutes of the uniel tournament, but I'm pretty sure I've got that worked out for next time. If any of you ever want any of your matches streamed in the future, just ask. I understand that it's good to have matches to look back on, especially in a tournament setting. If you ask, myself or whoever else is helping run the bracket will probably say yes, unless we're horribly behind schedule. I'll work on reuploading them soon
TagAnarchy Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 GGs folks. My Byakuya isn't quite up to par yet, but I'll keep working at it. Going for 1st next time.
Orrax Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 GGs everyone! I'm sad I couldn't win Persona for Tucson's Mighty Minazuki Army, haha. Congrats to Ryan for winning Blaz and Persona, and to HF for taking first in UNIEL. And thanks to Ryan for running it.
H-F Blade Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 GGs the other day guys! Definitely had a lot of fun. Special thanks to Rath for running the event.
Orrax Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I want more old characters back, damnit. I'm interested in seeing how Leo plays, though.
Zeromus_X Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 That guy looks pretty cool. But yeah, #whensbridget
Theupstreamer Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 I personally love all these new characters. It gives them a chance to try out new designs that they wanted to and people are automatically hype for the new game after this if they include the old ones. Capcomgenius.
