The thing about the game is when you press A, you start off with a jab or so If you keep pressing 5A or so, it will do a different move if its in an ongoing link. So basically, if you mash 5A, it will do a combo for you, but the combo is very weak and unrewarding for 5 hits.

I could be wrong. Don't listen to this gaijin.

By the way. BlazBlue here is empty. Everybody plays and challenges you in Persona 4 however. Think of it like us doing 5 hit 5A combos and they're doing Japanese combos.

Blaz is more indie now. It happens at night when everybody comes. But I am saying people play a lot of P4U during any time of the day instead over just limited to nights.

I'm registering my NESiCA card soon. This one is the boring normal and plain design so I am using this one as a scapegoat. I really want the limited BB designs. The name on this card I might go with is クリムサンデ.

I'm not too surprised about BB there, that game popularity ranking thing posted here awhile back showed it in 10th place, the game has gotten considerably more boring since CS1.

And yes, I am also jelly as hell, I should have spent every last cent I have left to go and then never come back, becoming an exile until the Japanese government found me and deported me. I will fulfill my goal of eating at a street-side ramen stand soon.

The beginning 5A combos are not that bad depending on the character. I think you get decent meter gain for the ease of the combo.

The reason Japanese arcades stay in business is their arcades cost 100 Yen per game, which is a little more than a dollar. The competitive and revenge factor is so huge here.

Basically, this is my everyday life (since I am wasting a lot of money playing arcades here everyday):

Insert 100円. Scan my temp NESiCA card (because I'm not registering until I get that damn limited edition Noel one).

Select game either BB or P4U.

Grind for a bit.

Notice at the bottom of the screen where it says "Credit(s): 0" blinks to "Credit(s): 1" and then the "New Challenger"/"Intruder" screen appears.

They scan their NESiCA and challenge you.

Either you beat them or they beat you, but they beat you most of the time cause you're a free American.

You, sometimes and/or rarely them, get salty after losing. So you insert another 100円.

Then you go at that shit again. You either win or lose again. Doesn't matter. There is salt in the air at this point.

Both players keep inserting 100円 until a victor is determined by landslide or somebody gets Astral'd/Instant Kill'd and then at that point, the person who got embarassed just stands up and leaves.

Arcadeconomics. Shit ain't fucking cheap here.
