Eric, I saw your post in the Naoto forum. I don't mind helping you out with that horrible matchup. I don't necessarily know too much about Naoto but I have no problem playing with you and pointing out things that seem to work.

We doing anything this weekend? I'm free Friday. Saturday I have to work until 5:30, but that still leaves plenty of time.

And it's worth pointing out that I'm completely done with all that stuff that's kept me occupied for so long. Like, I haven't played persona once outside of Haz's and Ruben's since this season started up. Theory fighting with Yu in my head is the closest thing I've gotten to actual practice.

Ray, John, I'll start working on Marvel soon.

I'll start going online again probably. So Eric, if you want to play, I'm always down. Our connection is the most solid thing I've found on netplay.

Yeah Ryan just send me an invite whenever we're both on. I'll probably be on for a few hours tonight. I dunno, on paper Naoto has the tools to handle Mitsuru, it's just getting hit by random fullscreen Coup or fullscreen D moves for 4k when I'm trying to zone that's the problem. I'm starting to think Teddie is the true final boss matchup for Naoto.

Also dreamvision, Ruben should be hosting this Saturday, as far as I know. Ruben are you going to FNM at PCP tomorrow?

Eric, the only thing that get's 4k midscreen is a fatal or CH j.C. If only A Coup was that good lol. And ya, I totally get it. I think Naoto fares better than most characters against Mitsuru but that's still not saying much. She's stupid. The only four characters that even contend with her are Aigis, Teddy, Yu (all 5/5), and Chie (her only real bad match-up I think probably 5.5/4.5).

Too bad I wont be 18 for barfights. I'd be happy to try my best with Marvin, if only I was old enough. I've really wanted to play him seriously for a while but just never get the chance. I even spent all that time learning anti-Teddy/Chie tech. I'll be sure to watch if Persona happens.

Try unplugging/re-plugging the quick connects under the button. If that doesn't work, then jiggle the wire that's soldered to the PCB to see if it's a crappy solder job.

Had finals all day yesterday so I didn't get a chance til now, but (here comes my failure of knowing part names) the metal part the wire connects to is wriggling and it's not on the button.

This thing. The one on the bottom wiggles, the other one doesn't at all. Also there's red gunk covering the screws inside the stick too.

Especially that time I only knew a couple people that were there, and everyone I didn't know was all "hey man, can I get some games in with you?" and I played for like 5 hours straight. And then Gravy offered to show me this cool thing he could do with his tongue, and everything went gay from there.

Just wanted to come say sorry. I came back to say I was acting out of frustration of getting no help from this community when I'm trying to take the game seriously. Then I read this and realize I was stupid for saying anything. I actually have been out to Mesa twice and honestly I felt like an outsider. Ruben was the only one that talked to me and helped me and everyone else was kinda just rude to me. I tried to set up multiple times gatherings and get persona people to come... had it at every location not in Mesa possible and no one came. Again... Really frustrated that no one is willing to help. Rath was extremely helpful at ranbats and helped with the game so that's why I said that also. Then I got even more frustrated when I watched my game play from ranbats and on stream they were like who is this guy, oh I think he posts in DL. so yes... Extremely frustrated that it's really one sided when it comes to getting practice by just driving out to Mesa. I shouldn't have said it and I apologize for upsetting u so much. And any one for that matter. I have very limited time with having a wife and kids, a full time job and all other life but I an trying to take the game seriously even tho it's kinda dying.

I get what you mean. Trying to get games in at someone's house is sometimes like picking up a girl from a bar. Except no one has ever been rude enough to say no in my experience. I'm a little curious as to who had been rude to you before.

I remember the first time I saw Rath post. I asked to play him online and I'm not even the nice guy in the group. And now look. Dustloop has become Rathloop.

It's super awkward when you meetup with new people, so I understand where you're coming from. I'm still not that close to a lot of the guys around here, but maybe you mistook their sense of humor as being rude. From my experience so far, I can't think of anyone who would have been too alienating.

I remember when I first went to a meetup (that's right John, I have relevant stories too). It was just a hazbat from last season. I didn't know anyone and I had no clue where these things took place or how I would get there. Honestly, if Justin hadn't offered to give me a ride and been so helpful, I probably wouldn't have ever went or stayed around (keep in mind that I was just some random teenager whom he had never met and only had like 1 post on DL).
