Ryd' Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 This match was probably the closest thing to having to fight one of you guys in a GG tournament I experienced at SCR - I've fought Fudd a fuckton on XBL, and we've been on friendly terms for many months. I think this made it an uphill battle for Fudd. If he had never fought me before, I think he would have done much better vs. me. Because of our prior experience, I was much more relaxed during this match than I was for my matches vs. Valle and Daigo I don't quite follow this; generally having more experience against someone seems to make you more tense, since you know the person's style and worry too much about eating things you know you shouldn't/normally wouldn't eat and stuff. At least that's the impression I get from the inevitable matches we seem to have in like...every fucking GG tourney we both attend. Especially that one at UAT

How'd you do against him, I need comparisons :O It wasn't Watches, it was the Rachel player I mistook for Orrax when I first saw him. He seemed much more defensive than Watches and favored ground based oki to you and Watches' crossup based oki. He knew the Baiken matchup well enough to know when I wanted to kabari (he'd counter those often) but he seemed a bit flummoxed by 1f counters. His execution was better than mine was, lol. He got around 3 wins on me before I rallied with a 3 streak of my own.

Hateraid Red Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 SCR was fun~ I enjoyed it, but yeah I played a lot of casuals with guys like bangcamero, render, xie, and a few more who's names escape me right now and ran through 2 rotations of them trying to break in my new stick, but i eventually just gave up my spot due to bangcameros crying. he really did give a super bad first impression. hopefully he's a cooler person than what he presented himself to be.

I played him over PSN, too. He's sooooo much better than his CT hands down.
