I'm curious to see I-No gameplay changes; no Chemical Love FRC is a pretty huge loss for her play style. And might seriously compromise her standing as one of the hardest execution characters in a fighting game that isn't F:UC.

If you forgot, FRC's were 'merged' with RC's in a way. If anything this definitely makes those combos easier at the cost of more meter. I don't see it being a loss to her play style in terms of combos because it isn't changing the impact or flow of anything she does besides one combo path (that she probably still has if you can RC Chemical Love). It would make some of her block-strings disappear, but it would not impact much in that case. Well, at least in my opinion it would not change much.

I think a few DoA5 matches were recorded, but it wasn't streamed as far as I know. I'm not sure who won DoA. I won GG with zombie Sol, H-F took second with zombie Ky, and Brian got 3rd with the Pot/Anji tag team.

And GGs to everyone yesterday! It was a fun tourney. And GGs to Carlos afterward in Melty -- I am super free to Satsuki. Inescapable command grab overdrive is too strong.

Totally fair. But hey, it's only F-Satsuki. Though this begs the question: would you rather play against F-Akiha? I enjoy playing both, especially when people freeze up with Akiha's corner game, but I figure you'll probably get more experience with MB's neutral game when you actually get to spend time in neutral, and there's more of that to be had with Satsuki than Akiha.

Is F-Satsuki's Anti-air Ex Hand Job better than C's?

EX Arm should be the same for all Satsukis. There only real advantages to F are:

-more stable damage (no re-beats)

-meterless BnBs with bullshit Satsuki oki

-better ground mobility (236 series)

-somewhat stronger pressure/the usual bullshit with F-moon normals

C gives you C's mechanics (always a plus), another ground overhead, a real command grab, better tech punishes (though with F, the opponent never gets to ground tech anyway ), easier combos (charged jC is 1f faster; makes the link a lot easier) and another set of defensive tools in 22A/C. Many argue that there really isn't any reason to play F over C. I just like F's 5B, meterless combos with oki, and the fact that her 236C is a giant "fuck you" to anyone trying to throw shit at her at 3/4 screen or less.

Alright so I was considering hosting this Friday for games since I'm leaving out of state next week for about a couple of weeks, problem is it's going to be the week's hottest day on Friday so I checked the 10-day forecast. It seems next week will be cooling off and if the trend continues the next Friday will be a reasonable temperature for my AC to try and keep up with our hot bods, so I'm going to put this Friday as a potential day until I figure out exactly when I leave, if I can still be here through next Friday then I will just have games that day instead.
