Orrax Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 The hell did I just watch? Looked to me like the spiritual successor to "Kung Pao: Enter the Fist."
Orrax Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Double Post Footage of Koichi's Ramlethal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxxxAQb1PI8 He's playing against Ogawa and Machaboo, though, so don't expect him to win. He lost all the Machaboo matches, but I only watched about about a third of the Ogawa matches. He got close a lot of times, and it looks to me like Ramlethal has potential (she actually reminds me of Mu), but it's still early.
Chumaralupa Posted April 12, 2014 Author Posted April 12, 2014 So what happened to the name Valentine? Or were people just calling her that for no reason?
Orrax Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 She's Ramlethal Valentine. But most people seem to be calling her "Ramlethal" now.
Ryuuka Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 There's apparently some connection between Ramlethal and the Valentine from Overture who was a clone of Sol's waifu.
M19Kamikaze Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Wasn't it something like: Messload of Valentine clones with Ramlethal being one of them? Difference being that whoever was in charge of making her liked him some chocolate (and a bit crazy).
Chumaralupa Posted April 15, 2014 Author Posted April 15, 2014 Man I can't wait for this SRK vs DL tourney that's brewing for Xrd.
Ryuuka Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Even if it's new, it's still basically the same game. I don't really see them sticking with it.
Theupstreamer Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 There's no way in hell they'd stick with it.
Greyvangelist Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 when has anyone else ever stuck to an airdasher fighter? They'll all go back to Marvel and Street Fighter after like a week
Ryuuka Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 I don't think anyone has told them that marvel is technically an airdasher.
dejixal Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 or a Kusoge. Your avatar still gets me every time.
Valthazeryus Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 I bought the "Guilty Gear Xrd - Sign - Arcade Version OP&ED Theme - EP" disc. I (believe I) ripped it. Can I send this to anyone to make sure?

TagAnarchy Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I've tried putting marvel players into a logic corner trying to get them to admit it's an airdasher. I enjoy watching them fumble for reasons that it's not as I simply state that a lot of the cast can airdash. Try it. It's fun. Anyone practicing on +R to get ready for Xrd?
LegendaryRath Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 nice an AZ thread. Hello, welcome Occasionally someone will post about a gathering here. We also might set up another set of BBCP ranbats after the patch comes out. Feel free to try to make it out to something and say hi.

I really wish more people were playing +R. Unfortunately, it's mostly just me, Ryuuka, Zeromus, H-F Blade, and Ryd at the moment, and pretty much all of us are longtime Guilty Gear veterans. I think there may be a few other people playing, but I'm not sure. That said, I think +R is actually a good training platform to prepare for Xrd -- the fundamentals are pretty much the same, the game itself is very good and very balanced, it's reasonably priced, and, assuming you're playing a character that will be in Xrd, you can start learning the basics of a character now. I'd really like to see a group of players start together and practice against each other, which would mean there would actually be people to play against who haven't already been playing Guilty Gear for a long time, but no one's taken the initiative yet.
Valthazeryus Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 WHAT IF I WANT TO PLAY RAMLETHAL, LUKE. I CAN'T FIND HER ON +R AT THE MOMENT. D:

I would like to start getting into it. I main Street Fighter, KI, and have been getting into BBCP. I downloaded +R a while ago and never really practiced but I'd like to start.
