Hopefully, the NEXT thread-title will not have anything BB-related in it, because not everyone here *only* plays that-- ...........:O I mean, I have nothing against people liking/playing it, but there are other much better games out there that AZ players happen to play, IMO.

But it's Dustloop, BB/GG is what this board is mostly about. Although the next topic should involve snakes. Troll snakes ^_^

Of course, but some of us DO play/PREFER GG as well (even a lot of BB players admit/feel GG is a better game, etc.), so I fail to understand why ONLY something BB-related would be in the title (why not refer to both games and/or others?)-- the site is still called DUSTLOOP, after all (lame excuse, but still). Not trying to disrespect the game/its players, nor am I trying to start BB Vs. GG BS...

No hate; this is not a big deal to me and others, it is just that people actually play Guilty Gear in Arizona<3

Yeah the only reason it's a BB reference is because it applies to the 1070 proposition issue which Vince made a very good pun in regards to. If there was a way to relate it to GG instead he probably would've said that. But yeah I think the next one is going to be hot male hookups, but not before spiritjuice yells at us again.

i like both games equally. stop being fucking babies and play everything. If i can suck it up and play johnny in gg and actually TRY to play a solid game against people (KNOWING I'm 5 years behind everyone else); the least other people can do is give other games a shot.

Most people haven't given any games a chance outside of GG. that, or they can't cut it in any game that doesn't have a shit-ton of gimmicks and take their inadequate self loathing PMS rages out on everyone who does enjoy something else.

Just saying, I've tried to like blazblue several times, the problem is that every time I try, I get bored of it after about a month. It might just be that there isn't a character I like enough to keep at it. I do know whenever i play bb, i feel like my options are too limited, but I may just be spoiled with gg. I do intend to give it another shot when cs2 comes out, chances are that i'll get bored and stop playing after a month tho. : P

Also, Ray, we can't be friends anymore after you called Sol Badguy, and I quote, "blah". we might be able to be friends again if you at least admit he's awesome, even if you don't want to play him.

Finally, I am all for a solbat, and to be honest, i'd be willing to join any same char tourney for the lulz assuming no entry fee.

HateraidRed: Everyone is different; not playing/liking BB does not mean anyone is a "cry baby", etc-- many people play a different variety of games, so if people do not like/play BB, then it is their choice. Being open-minded is also respecting the fact that people like or dislike a certain game for their own reasons. why so serious, no one is FORCING you to play GG...

As for me, my main game has been Marvel long before GGAC even existed, and I play CvS2, 3S, MvC1, random games when I get bored, and will certainly get at Marvel3. The main reason why I never got into SF4 is because work takes up 80% of my free time, so I missed my chance/would be too far behind practice-wise (also, no next-gen console).

I am embittered because BB killed the GG scene here for a long time. It's great that GG is being played more now, but I remember the one time I went down to Rubens, that GG setup only existed because I was there :l I got bored with BB, and the game has some flaws that I really can't stand. I play other games though. MBAA, and would play F/UC (lol) and like...EFZ (lol) or IaMP more if people here actually played them. Or SC2. Or even DoA (it's fun; not good, but fun), or KoF:MI (loool). Maybe MvC2, but I'm not sure I want to put the effort into relearning all the crap for that one.

I think there's a small colony who play online, but they were hating on Will's Shiori pretty hardcore just because he actually put time into learning the game, so I don't know if it'd be worth getting involved with them.

I think everyone who likes GG should really give CS2 a try though. I know I'm bored with it at the moment, but I'm excited about the balancing they're doing, and some of the mechanics changes (IB isn't god tier anymore). I think it's going to make the game much more technical, especially because you can't just mash back until you IB and DP to get out of pressure.

And yeah, nobody is really above having fun with BB. However, when it comes to having the best fun, GG is where it's at.

I would play IaMP more if the difference in skill level between myself and the next-best player weren't comparable to a sharp precipice. Or maybe Meiling has something to do with that, I dunno. I kinda want to try out rollcaster, though.

I'd play IaMP, but my immense hatred for the declare system prevents me from doing so. Though I can get into most fightans no problem (I'd say 92-98% of them).

EDIT: Soku's card system is cash :3. I usually play with a guy I know on IRC. I actually like the weather, some of it anyway. Fuck typhoon and river mist
