My valk is practiced, I just fail online =S

Aww :< well lets rematch when I get there, you'll probably beat me then lol. Usually how it works is I use the same gimmicks over and over, and the first time you fight me you're like "OMFG WATS GOIN ON" and then like 3 matches later you're like "YOMI YOMI YOMI", when i just dont change stupid habits. lol.

Chun you suck. My eyes see all, even deleted posts! :)

Is Rin bringing recording equipment? Do I need to bring my mic?

Yesh im bringing recording equipment, BUT AGAIN SOMEONE HAS TO BRING A LAGLESS/CLOSE TO LAGLESS HDTV WITH COMPONENT INPUT >: (

And I gots a mic. I got a professional desktop mic, same one that coopa has. Its pretty beastly :3

I think I have a component input TV (It says Component IN on the back). VGA too. Dacid's played on it fine as most others as well, so it's decidedly "lagless".

What kind of TV is it? I'll probably be bringing my laptop too so I can probably do a timecode test on it JUST TO BE SURE (although it needs to have HDMI or VGA input).

Hrmmm... Sony... I have a Bravia too and I used to think it was pretty good... until I did a timecode test and found out it had almost 3 frames of lag.

How shitty are Sharp TVs?

I would love another excuse to cover up my awfulness. =D

My friend's Sharp HDTV had about 4-6 frames of lag. He used the Guitar Hero lag test to figure it out.

What's the internet situation at SJSU. Is the internet good (how many megs of upload?)? Does it require a student password? Can we directly connect? Answer all these questions, please, or Haunts might not be able to make it.

You need:

1) a laptop

2) a camera

3) the monitor you want to test

4) a video that counts fps

5) a crt monitor or tv

First step: hook up your laptop to the CRT monitor and then take a picture using the camera. For best results, do it in a very well lit room at the highest shutter speed possible. From there, you can determine how many frames of lag your laptop has.

Second step: hook your laptop to the monitor or TV you want to test. Do the same test you did earlier. Add results from your laptop to your monitor or TV to get your results. For example, my laptop has about one frame of lag, while my monitor, according to the time code test, is about one frame slow than my laptop. Adding the two together, my monitor has two frames of lag.

Just find an SJSU student's account to use for streaming.

Does the CS clubroom have any ethernet ports in the walls or anything? If so, then you can just bring an ethernet cable there and hook it up. You get a much better connection that way. But yea....SJSU wireless is actually pretty meh from my experience.

the CS Club is fully equipped with a switch in the center and direct connect internet that only requires a passcode and the SSID. No MAC filtering, no account needed, and amazingly fast upload/download speed. We have our own hook up.

If haunts actually comes there's no need for people to bring stream setups. Also the HDTV situation would be null too because I could just record off of Haunt's setup like last time.

So if the net is beastly like Chun says, its a go-go for me, haunts can stream on IPW, and you guy's keep your Asus :D ONE BIG HAPPY FAMIRY

Provided there are more than enough CRTs, HnK setups can happen if people bring the materials.

Could always play ST on a laptop anyways.

Clearly this means we can play VP on the side, lol
