Sol.Badguy Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 OMG ok the fight vs that man on hard is reeeeaaaally irritating me, what were they thinking when they made this fight?! it's the only one in the game thats given me ANY trouble. Homing flying walls, lazer beams(?) everywhere, birds eye view so you can barely see where you are. I can get him to half health without getting hit, but after that things get so crazy and i get pwned. Anyone have any advice on how YOU did it on hard??

Now, try to get closer to that man; be careful, he's gonna throw at you walls(?). As soon as he gets his barrier off, charge him and kick his ass. repeat.
Blackgenma Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 if there's one thing that annoys me about this game, it's the useless units. there are units in this game your just better off without summoning. crap like pencil guys and wisemen. they just are not worth the mana to summon. those crappy units REALLY need a buff or something.

I'd hardly call it something that would turn the tide of battle, like a heaven's libra or something. the thing is generally made of fail unless paired up with a group of all three of Sol's normal units, where it would constantly upgrade them. and we know that having all three of his units out isn't really....the best way to play Sol in most cases. very situational. Edit: Believe me when I say the Idea of what blockhead does is VERY cool (it makes pencil guys actually do damage), but it just isn't that useful. you'll pretty much almost never need it in a 1 vs 1 match...unless your determined to stuff it in your play style.

EDIT: I link the nico video re-director thingy in my GG2 video thread, at the bottom of the combo post. (should I move it to the top of the topic?) its for those who do not know how to make a Nico Video account, so they can watch some of the videos I post over there anyway. there are flaws with the thing though, as you cannot see the video discription for the videos, thus links to multi video matches are lost in that way. if there's people who would like me to post the URL address so they can watch all parts of matches, let me know, otherwise, I'm too lazy for such a thing.

Blackgenma Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 If it's an obvious combo, then no need to point it out then? isn't the point of these videos to showcase combos? half of the shit he put for Sol was DEAD OBVIOUS. didn't make the video any worse. bad guide mentality there. it's like Sol's guard break overdrive combo. it's so obvious that no one EVER mentioned it and ever did it, so I never knew about it for the entire time I owned the game, up until a few days ago. REALLY bad guide mentality.
