That Man does look like Near...now Frederic and Aria are his two associates? Why does Sin look so cute in Sol's story pic? Why does it look like Ky's wife has a tail, ribbon, boobs, etc.... Why didn't they use the pic where Ky's wife seems to be impaled or covered in bandages to make her look like a Sisters Repentia? (No, you're not going to understand that part.)

Playing GG2 should help answer that 2. Not sure what's going on in that pic, though the story segment would probably explain it... 3. Well, going by GG lore, Frederick and Justice were scientists that worked with That Man back in the day 4. Because he's a kid! And him holding the Chimaki doll probably helps 5. Blade Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Along with what Akselziys mentioned, there's also the sketch art for backgrounds and locations, details (like the glyphs under the characters, variations of what Ky's cross would look like, etc) and a 50 question interview with Ishiwatari-san. Oh, and the character sections include what they say for certain things (attacks, hits, etc)... I'm sure you'd be interested in this for your database, wouldn't you Blade? That's assuming Aksys doesn't beat me to the translations first. Movelist-wise I would like detailed descriptions of everything, including what Servants do. I've written down a few movelists for Dr. P/Sin/Valentine/Raven and added a few moves for Sol and Ky as well, but details-wise, I'm in the dark since I dunno what these moves do. I'd probably have to tinker with these games in detail to get a better idea. Dizzy's innocence and Ky's compassion led them to cross paths and walk the road of life together. im just wondering if Testament is mad at Ky, and Jam is mad at Dizzy O...O

Anyways, it seems like Ky's wifey's name is pretty similar to the Japanese one, so I don't think the translation is "proving" anything; actually, I think the "proof" is already in the original material, dont'cha think? But whatever. I'll be surprised if it wasn't Dizzy. She's been a pretty important character since X, but Ishiwatari deciding to cop-out and make a new character is completely plausible too

Justice is her mother, Dizzy was 3 in the X series, and GG2 is set 5 years later, so-- Oh, wait, sorry. I forgot common sense doesn't count for anything here. If something isn't explicitly stated, you have to walk around pretending to be oblivious. My apologies!

I'm not speculating, just laying out the facts. You can make your own informed decisions, and I'll make mine. The Maiden of the Grove has wings, ribbons, a connection with Ky, Gear Cells which resemble those of Justice, is speculated by an in-game character to be her backup, and was stated by Ishiwatari to be about 8-years-old. None of that is speculation. Spinzaku, you should know better than anyone else that if the japanese don't explicitly state something then it's probably not true. I do have to stop you there. The Japanese language may be intentionally vague, sometimes maddeningly so, but, generally speaking, it isn't intentionally misleading. It's all about subtraction (not misdirection): you want to get your point across with as few "clues" as possible, not completely obstruct your point. Anyway, any requests for which short story you want translated most? I'll be doing Raven's, then That Man's, but after that, I don't have any preferance. It might take me a while to get done (might call in a few favors and get some friends to help), so I'd rather focus on the stuff that people are most interested in first.

How many times have people thought something was true but turns out that it wasn't? LOTS. There was a shitload of evidence that supported it, but in the end it wasn't true.
