I'm glad daisharin is still the way it is :)

carrying the opponent to the corner "without the rod" is much easier now due the hitstun added to chun followed by jbcb loop.

her staff mode seems less dangerous in terms of corner carrying .. just a knockdown followed by shitty mixups .. her mixup with staff "midscreen" seems worse than CT .. overheads are not scary anymore and 6A does not knockdown.

I'd say based on the 3 to 4 matches I saw so far, she has potential to be a solid B tier character "at best" in comparison to the other chars ..

can she cancel 5c to itssuB?

Is there a compiled list of all the final CS2 changes discovered thus far. I skimmed through the opening and closing pages but couldn't spot anything. Sorry to ask, people. :psyduck:

Never judge this character at the start of a new release.

Even CS1 Litchi is way different now than she was week 1.

Litchi is the kind of character that has a lot of room to develop.

Also, all throws lead into itsuu. Forward throw > itsuuB, Airthrow > itsuuC, back throw > itsuuA (of course, they are not special cancelled like in CS1)

do we know if you can combo off of 4d midscreen with this new slide (if its actually there)? If so I would think that 5b>2c>4d>... would work for a new staff starter BnB. 2c>6d could even work in the corner, though I doubt that would do more damage than 2c>4d options. Also, do we know how 6d hits standing/crouching and if we can combo off of it? If the standing/crouching hits are the same as CSI (although the air hit seems like it would only be good for corners) we could connect 5b>whatever afterwards.

God dam I wanna see how this character turns out.

She definitely looks more fun to play. Her new playstyle forces you to use more of her tools, which is good. CS1 litchi you really didn't need to bother much with her other moves like 6C and j2D. Thrilled to see how useful the j2D cross up ends up being :).

Although I'm looking forward to new stuff, CS1 Litchi actually required you to use all her relevant tools if you wanted to win with her (just like CT).

Fio from Gamechariot gets 6 win streak, youtube uploads from pktasn. Looks like he is way more comfortable in these than the ones from two days before. Pulls more combos past 3K and drops them way less than before as well. There was also another vid of him fighting this same day against Shadow's Platinum but he wasn't doing so hot but I'll add link if anyone wants. I'm not sure if it is on youtube though.

I wish he would go for 5B 2C 4D midscreen, I want to see what she can get off of it. I'm also curious why he isn't trying 5B 5C 6D stuff. You should still be able to link into 5B.

all I'm seeing is turtling and three main easy combos so far ... she became so limited as far as I'm seeing.

I like itsuu pressure. I'm thinking after 6B CH > set staff > run 5B > jbcb loop .. is it possible? and I wanna see 4D too.

as fas far 5b 5c 6d , I think that doesn't give good positioning for pressure after knockdown. well her pressure is nothing to be afraid of after all.

Unless proration is too high, 5B 5C 6D(2) 5B Haku Chun 5B blah blah blah should work. That's why I'm curious to see it.

Oh, 5B is air unblockable now? That's kinda cool... Unless it was in CS1 and I just never noticed it (likely)

It's Fio, he's trying his best. It's not like he was a S tier CS1 Litchi. . . he played really simple and showed off the characters strength. I'm sure you guys all saw that play.

I find that there's something missing about litchi's midscreen combos, like, they havent figured out an effective way to doing decent dmg and carry at the same time. Or more J.BC loop midscreen setups =/

Basically (for now), she won't get big damage/corner carry off far random hits unless its 6C or 6B.

She'll get it off pointblank hits and mixup.
