PAX Prime 2013

+R is not in the lineup of games and the new JoJo's is obviously not considering it only just came out and many are still waiting for their import copies to ship

That being said, Veteru got us permission to run unofficial tournaments for both +R and JoJo's All Star Battle. We'll be holding them today (Saturday) in the console freeplay room on the 6th floor. Stop on by to sign up.

We were playing +R all evening, so it was a successful Friday

We have been recording the ranbats, and in a few weeks we will have the capability to put them up on YouTube in a manner that I find satisfying. Previous weeks' tourneys will be put up on YouTube in their entirety this week. I'm sorry for the delay in publishing these videos.

Setup includes: 2xAsus monitors,360,PS3, and a TE stick for both systems

Oh hey new people!!! Welcome to PNW scene!

I know it is short notice, but there is a meeting tonight in Renton, WA at Game Breakers. All Arc Sys games will be there. Ends at midnight.

If Guilty Gear is more your thing, Jais (a few posts up) holds meets at his place almost every Thursday in Redmond. Contact him for more info if you are interested.

There is also the PNW house in Kent, WA (the party house) for all games. Meets are random here. Get in contact with huey253 for this one (He is the Bang moderator and EVO2012 Blazblue Champion)

There is also Spark's (Hakumen moderator and 2011 Blazblue Champion) place at New Castle. This is for smaller meets for just a few casuals, nothing big. Contact Spark if you want matches. We play all the games there.

If you are unable to make it, I do play online quite often for BBCSX, GGXXAC, and Persona 4 Arena. All PS3. Add me if you like.

I want to say thank you to everyone that made it out to any Northwest Gentlemen's Fight Club Ranbats, and I would like to think that NWGGR Season 1 has been pretty successful! We had a consistent showing of six or more players almost every week, with a high of 10 entrants, and a total of 16 ranbat participants! The final point tally ended with Digital Watches taking first place with 35 ranking points and a decisive six (!) wins under his belt (as many wins as tourneys he attended). Hellsap took second and two wins of his own, while I lagged behind, taking third with no wins (;_;). Congratulations to Alex, and all who participated!

The first season ended with our LiveGamerPortable giving us a bit of trouble. The next season will begin Tuesday, October 15th to give us time to return the machine and allow Season 2 to end in the first week of December, in time for a holiday break. Thank you all for being patient as we work out the bugs of our "first draft" season.

Tuesday casuals will continue, and I'm hoping I can share news of a pay-to-play tournament coming in the near future, though details are not yet ready. In any case, let's play more Guilty Gear!
