I'm wondering what the tiers for GGXX and GGX are.

Top: Slayer, Millia, Faust, Eddie, Sol

Middle: Axl, Venom, I-no, Johnny, Bridget, Dizzy, Chipp, Baiken, Potemkin, Ky, Jam, Testament

Bottom: May, Anji-Mito, Zappa

That's pretty much correct, except Eddie is second, not 4th, Sol should be moved to top of middle tier, and Ky/Jam/Testament should be moved to top of bottom. The bottom tier suffered from being 3-7 or worse against like, half the cast.

like aba seemed like hax in 1v1 but seemed like she'd be really terrible in 2v2

with the exception of slash (ky was top tier in slash, so......yeah), the same couple characters are A tier or higher......

Sol + Chipp team

Get both opposing players to get hit by Sol. Sol does dustloop. Chipp moves around, repositioning the screen so that Sol always has the optimal dustloop.

Or just do Sol + Sol Team and do your dustloop off your partner's dustloop.

Shouldn't Isuka be the official game of dustloop.com?

No idea, but the last official tier list I saw for the game had her in top 4.

Millia is just well-designed from the start. Eddie is just wrong (too strong, you attack with two characters at once), so unless he gets nerfed terribly and unjustly (Slash) he'll definitely be top. Zappa is almost too hard to make right.

Slayer is THE cool character of GG. You don't make a cool character weak, or else the whole game would be uncool.

There it goes, my amateurish analysis on the tier-list trend of GG.

can't forget about eddie team in isuka. one does buzzsaw mixup, the other just sits there recharging eddie meter then does buzzsaw mixup when the other guy runs out of meter.
