ioKain Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Starting to wonder if JC, J.2C will replace 3C, J.2C for knockdown in combo's. Like..... 5B, 5C, 6]D[, JC(knockdown), J.2C, something.... Depends on the position of the knockdown and maybe the characters hit box could play into that as well.

How drastically? I understand most characters damage is toned down, but is this CS Rachel bad? And if it's CS Rachel bad, how bad is it in relation to other characters? I'm curious as to why you have all the crying faces for 6D. I guess I don't get 6D CH on airborne opponents very much and I'm not sure what the result is. With the wall bounce though we should be able to get an IAD J.2C, no?

They are mischievous happy kitty faces. That means air CH 6D is gonna be FUNNNNNNNNN. Consider it your new, not as good version of FCH j.B right now. I actually get a lot of CH 6D's. You can have nirvana behind you and 6D > block for baiting an opponent's jump in, etc. Until now, air CH 6D only gets me ghetto combos like sj.A > j.B > j.C > dj.2C > allegretto lol. Or whatever I can get on the fly.

Whatever > cantabile > 5B > sj.B > j.C > j.2C late allecan > 5C > whatever > clap? for when those air combos are too high to combo clap. would be nice, lol. But I doubt it. Probably just go a step back from CS, but a step forward from CT and just have like j.B > dj.B > j.2C allegretto. Or sj.B > j.2C > falling j.B jc > dj.B > dj.C > knockdown. I haven't seen the move!!!!!! D: I need to work these combos out! I'm excited to see.
Angel Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Yeah, I'm excited to see what we can do with knock down j.C. Chasing after a falling opponent with j.2C would be gdlk. I'm sure this doesn't work too well in high-level play anyway, but I always loved doing 3K+ combos on my friends when they got too aggressive because Nirvana was dead.

Mascarpone Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 I thought JC only drops them on counter hit? which btw makes CH j.C allot better imo since you could usualy only get things off ch j.c if you did it super low to the ground, and they were never more than 5b j.bblahblah combos. and the CH 6D sounds delightful. I get allot of those too XD. ... of course it's only delightful if the vivace, 5B j.B j.236C 8D pick up still works. i never got all the specific info on carls "changes in untech time" from the earlier loc tests. I'm still kind of enthralled with Fuoco being sure to come out and anima having super armor. That's some unlimited Carl B.S. right there.

Mascarpone Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 (edited) that's going to be rather odd to get used to XD yes 214c that is what i mean. i've been backwards all day. so i'm curious, think j.2C j.B 2D will still work in air combos? i feel like if J.C hits them on the ground it'll be unwanted in that string because even if 2D will pick them up, if they are on the ground they wont get the super high bounce that you get from 2D hitting aerial opponents. As good as jB fatal counter is, in some ways it's a buff, 'cause it means you can start standing combos with its awesome hitbox and not have to worry about the opponent suddenly being too far away to chase without Ada around, especially since all the cool CS juggle combos now deal significantly less damage.

Also now, after a j.B you can connect a j.C for knock down and try to do some reset if you are near to nirvana.

I know lots about my character. NEE-SAN doesn't die as easily, on the other hand it's not easy to combo with one person, NEE-SAN's relay (maybe movement while D is held?) is not easy. The point I can see is the concept with Carl (maybe the sentence is supposed to be rearranged, could possibly be "This is concept with Carl as far as I know"). Since NEE-SAN dies unbelievably easily, it's too bad we can't use her as a barrier (someone verify this sentence).That's all I could do with the death! NEE-SAN! She probably does die faster again, but I'm hoping that's not the case. Hopefully someone will elaborate.

I just hope that both of us are rigth and Nirvana dosnt die more easily. If that the case god help us, especially now that it recover more slower and Carl can´t do much when he is alone.
