AtTheGates Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ANv8G1_w6g pointless but fun loop. hit counter at the end is high enough for the 632146D super to not fully hit -_-
PandaKingEX Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm12278958 2nd and 3rd fight are Valk. Valk Looks so freaking ridiculous in this vid.
Sophisticat Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 I think I'll keep uploading Nico vids to YT like these in the future if there's demand. For now, it's just the stuff I'll find interesting. I cut out unnecessary footage, too. http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm12239874 2nd and 3rd match are Valk. Nice combos going on in here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFNAYGL01is http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm12278958 2nd and 3rd fight are Valk. BladeOfJustice7 Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Vid was recorded due to his dash method: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm12318072 I don't have valk yet, thoughts?
Ross Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eq93whmY-xQ&feature=sub Madteaparty did a valk vid, good extensions on known stuff, seems to have gotten a good timing down for wolf into human relaunch. I wonder how many people can get hit by double super in the corner??
BladeOfJustice7 Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akkHjv-30Tk Madteaparty put out a few matches of him online. Didn't he used to main Hazama?
Jais Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm12328839 match 2 Valk v Hak
BladeOfJustice7 Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 After much anticipation, that shadow valk is back: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm12365147 He starts in teh second match, he plays against lambda, it seems to me once valk can be learned to be played effectively lambda's zoning isn't THAT threatening.
Azzal Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Haha, in the last match against the Tao, he hits her twice= she's dead. We can also notice that the falling j.b, j.b combos become mandatory, all his BnB uses this pattern. Do they use this pattern instead of the easiest j.214B, D, 236 A, 236 B, CD, jB, dj JC because they want to save the wolf meter? I ask this because I still have isues landing the falling double jB. combos. :p
Prinnical Shock Posted October 8, 2010 Author Posted October 8, 2010 I love how that Valk handled himself against Lambda
BladeOfJustice7 Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 I love how that Valk handled himself against Lambda Could we say their match up is most likely even, or still too early?
Prototype-03 Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Could we say their match up is most likely even, or still too early? Still too early. We still have to see if Lambda will figure out something to keep him away. We saw in the second round that that specific lambda player learned to dash after the spikes as to not get caught in the wolf jump. One thing is certain though... Valk has tools to play against zoners unlike early EARLY impressions that stated that zoners would demolish him.
Ross Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 He has options against zoners, big suprise. Good zoning will still be hard to deal with.
Prototype-03 Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 He has options against zoners, big suprise. Good zoning will still be hard to deal with. Right, that's supposed to be his weak point, but that video is showing that Valkenhayn can still advance on the zoners... He's no Tager or Hakumen by any means, which is what people thought initially. But still, we're gonna have to see how it all settles down at the end.

The one thing I like about this valk is his ability to adapt so fast, when she first did this valk was ch off a 5c, the second time he reinitiated wolf form upon landing (iirc), point is he can change his fighting style quickly to what his opponent is doing.
Prinnical Shock Posted October 9, 2010 Author Posted October 9, 2010 http://es.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm12352038 last two matches consist of Ragna vs Valk and a Mirror
