I just I'll just have to do it once she comes out. Ah, alright then. I was hoping to open up her combo thread so we have a better place to store all of her combo information over the next week. (The 5th Location Test is happening right now so I'd expect that we'll get some more information on her, then a week later she'll be out in arcades so we should have a lot of good combos) Oh well, I guess it's gonna' have to wait a while.
unsanctifier Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 We'll have tons of combos for you guys once she is released :3 Just because she'll be out in arcades it doesn't mean she'll be readily available, it'll be hard for North Americans to play her until she's on console..

True we don't have a date yet, but you guys are already expanding and cataloging the information you have. Better to keep it all in one place.

For those who haven't seen it: http://kalfisquine.redmongoose.net/blog/?page_id=843 Originally I thought this would be pretty close to final with small changes from the last Location test but there have been some big changes across the board. Either Platinum is right where they want her or she is going to get toned down to match the rest of the cast right before release.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to let the thread spiral out of control like it did before. Not that I had to do much, aside from point the line of conversation in the right direction a few times. A lot of other members in this thread were really cooperative, and I think we already got a great amount of detail from Platinum with the limited resources that we have. I've updated the Platinum Data page more, and all I need now are a few special move descriptions for our old resource quotes to be obsolete. Edit: Battery died on my iPhone while editing this post, lol. Thanks for the praise, guys. I've been trying to make all of the Platinum information we have/will get as smooth and organized as possible. But really, thanks. Also just noticed the ENTIRE PLATINUM FORUM. Pretty baller, even though she doesn't even have a release date yet! To be honest, I think there should have been a Platinum section when loketest 4 was happening. At that time, We did have a good amount of information and vids about Platinum to have our own section. Just because there is no release date for her doesn't mean we should not have a platinum section. Also, it is quite strange that hardly anyone is using Platinum at the moment. I'm hoping that there will be vids of her out this week.

Urichinan Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 True, I forgot that just because the arcades doesn't mean that we'll be able to expand out on anything but what the JP give us, so a combo thread can wait a while. The FAQ sounds like a great idea, Platinum sound like she's going to be quite strategic and overall a little difficult to use. A FAQ would really help new comers with understanding her Drive, pressure, zoning, poking just her general play style all around. But again, we'll need to take a couple of days to learn her first. However a video thread couldn't hurt much right now, it would keep people from having to run around this and other threads trying to find her Location Test videos, but again Crino does have the blog, they could always be put on there too.
