I was speaking about the fact that the series ended, not about the ending itself. Sorry for not being clear, I'm not a fan of spoilers, myself... And hey, they might still find a way to use those alternate Platinum designs in story mode CGs or something like that.
Cirno Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 ah, i see. i didn't feel too bad about madoka ending to be entirely honest, it felt like it did very well in the 12 episodes it was able to. i can appreciate a very good 12 episode anime much more than a bad 23-26+ episode anime, although i know the feeling you're describing. it'd be interesting if they used those designs in story mode or the like, though i'm not sure where they'd put them. omni-plat with a cape and uberstaff

Tager's Sparkbolt has 13 frames start up where as Platinum's missiles has 19. Even more, Platinum's missiles goes through Bang's nails which I find a bit odd.

Cirno Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 Kantan mentioned it first IIRC, and I tested it a bit on day 1. Spark bolt pretty much never has the advantage, since you can usually missile on reaction and it would clash. If you missile a bit too late, you may get hit. There's also a sweetspot where you'll get hit, but the missile will still come out and likely hit Tager/force him to block, so you should be safe. There's also, of course, Mystique Momo, which is a safecard to use if you think Tager is going to spark bolt. The spark will clash with a single missile, and will force Tager to block while you close in. If he doesn't spark, you still get to close the distance and start pressure.
